Warning: USE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!! I brought my 2012 Nissan Maxima in to have the air conditioner serviced. The first time the A/C was fine but a week or so later, the A/C failed. I returned the vehicle and was told that they had to replace the compressor. It took four days for them to call me and tell me that they'd ordered the wrong compressor and that my car might be ready the next day. It took two more days for me to get my car back and when I did the A/C worked fine, but my horn didn't work, and damn near every light on my dash was on. Carol, a service agent had me to bring the car back in and ran a diagnosis on a machine, she said my sensors were bad, something about the brake position, but couldn't determine why the battery light was on. She removed a bent paper clip from the battery and placed it on her pocket. After leaving the car overnight I was told that the alternator was bad. I didn't understand how an alternator could go bad and why all of the lights were on when I didn't present the car in that condition. I had the alternator replaced by my own mechanic, who also replaced the horn fuse. But the battery light remained on. I went to Auto Zone (Yes, AUTO ZONE) and asked the CR specialist to test the battery because after driving for miles the battery light was still on. The battery was good, however, He replaced two of three fuses that had apparently been removed while in CHUCK HUTTON custody, one was a red fuse for the alternator. The battery light went off immediately. Long story short, when I informed Carol, I was told that they do not diagnose their own vehicles, a third party mobile mechanic does. (CHUCK HUTTON USES A THIRD PARTY MOBILE MECHANIC TO DIAGNOSE THEIR CUSTOMER'S VEHICLES AND NOT THE MECHANICS WHO ARE DOING THE REPAIR.) The Sr. Manager told me that I should have paid them to replace the alternator and they wouldn't have charged me if it were just the fuses. If I had paid them to replace it this fraudulent and deceptive practice would not have been revealed. In my opinion, they most likely would have just replaced the fuses and charged me for an alternator and labor. Management, still refuses to replace the 500.00 it cost me to repair a vehicle, based on their Third Party Diagnosis that didn't need to be repaired. I don't know what else they did or didn't do, but my car hasn't run properly since I took it TO CHUCK HUTTON CHEVROLET.

I have 2 Chevy dealers and 2 GM dealers very near my home while Chuck Hutton is almost 20 minutes away across town. Due to recommendations from my VW dealer, I chose to give them a shot with my newly purchased used Suburban. This was my first visit to this dealership for service and it will now be my home dealership. Jeremy was fantastic and friendly, as was everyone else I came in contact with. He welcomed me to the dealership and really made it seem like they appreciated my business.
