I had been going to A Plus Automotive for a year. Every time I went I had nothing but great, honest work done by the head mechanic Scott. He always was trustworthy, reliable, and treated me fairly until today. I had purchased a new 2019 Honda CRV that was under warranty that started to squeak whenever I drove over speed bumps and make sharp turns down roads or into parking lots. Everyone in my inner circle informed me to take it to the dealership because of the warranty. I proceeded to do so, making the appointment for today Friday, 7/7/23. Once the dealership called me, they informed me that the front support beam had bent, which needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, it wasn't covered under my warranty and I was going to have to pay $275. I didn't think that sounded right for my car to be squeaking. I informed them that I would call Scott to get a second opinion and price. I called Scott and he said that the diagnostic didn't sound right either. He informed me to call them back to get the necessary information to compare prices. Once I did that, he called me back with a price. Like always, he was cheaper. The issue though was we both agreed that the diagnostic didn't sound right and I stated my concern again. I asked if it was possible to see if he could look at it and if it was true to replace the part. Once it came to that, his patience wore thin. Scott started to raise his voice at me stating that I called him for a price for that diagnostic and that I must make a decision right then and there, because I was wasting his time. He stated that I kept calling him, bothering him; which makes him have to drop what he is doing when he could be working on cars. He kept enforcing the fact that he charges $120/hour that could be used working on the car that he had before I called him inquiring his services. He basically was coercing and pressuring me to go with him, while at the same time, treating me like a burden and a waste of time.I finally told him that I was going with the dealership, because I was tired of the unprofessional and rude treatment that I was getting. Once I said the dealership, he went overboard. He started saying that everything he said to me went over my head and that I didn't understand a single word he said to me as if I was a child. He said that he gave me a cheaper price and stopped all his work for me and yet I still went with the dealership. I had it and I said to him that while I appreciate what he has done for me in the past; I feel pressured to make a decision. I exclaimed that I am a young woman that has other bills and expenses like everyone else. I am trying to just get the best price for myself, while at the same time, not being tricked. I told him that at the end of the day I need a car. They have it and can work on it immediately (I would have had to wait until Tuesday for him). Once I said all of that, he proceeded to yell the same stuff. It was then that I decided to hang up. For a man that calls himself a Christian that experience was a far cry for someone that is supposed to be a man of God. I have never had this type of treatment from him in the past so I am trying to keep an open mind, but it truly shook me to my core. I have only been nice to him and for him to treat me like that was the worst. I had a coworker who was helping me with the issue and she could hear every word he said. She too was not impressed by what he was pedaling. I thankfully got my car back and the dealership did a great job repairing my car. As for Scott, I wish him the best in the future, but as for me I will be seeking services elsewhere and telling people to not see him.

Took my truck in,he changed brake pads,shoes,rotors and installed a belt all on a Saturday and was ready the same day. I have nothing but good things to say! My truck brakes and runs so smooth now. He has my business now and my daughter's too.
