Bulldog transmission is a god aweful establishment, they watched me come in as a single mother and took advantage of me!! I needed a new transmission, bulldog suggested for them to rebuild it, I allowed them to, paid them in full. Transmission went out in 3days, they lied and said it was covered over warranty, that's the main reason as well why I allowed them to work on my truck but now, a week later issues black and smelly transmission fluid and they said I have to pay an additional $1,500 just for them to finish the original $4,000 job I just paid for! Then they told me I make money fast enough so it shouldn't be a problem! Suggesting I solicit myself to get my truck fixed, these are some real low life's in the dirtiest part of Memphis, I hate I trusted them with my vehicle, don't trust them with yours!!!! When I was in office it was several other customers with complaints of their vehicles not operating properly after they worked on them as well.They are uneducated and over priced and liars, they could've put a whole new transmission in but they chose to clean my original parts, put them back in and not replace necessary parts. Not to Mention if you ask the mechanics what work they performed, they scratch their heads with no answers but hands out for more payments. Don't be me, don't get scammed, runnnnn!

I visited Bulldog last to get help with my car. They don't work on my car type but they suggested a place for me to go. And I got to talk about my brother who always brought his truck here, even though he lived in Bartlett. He passed two years ago and they remembered him.

Easy to deal with, quick work. Little pricey but you get what you pay for. They swapped out my transmission (they found one for a very reasonable price) and it's been driving great for a couple weeks.

My daughter put diesel in our car! When everybody else was saying they were a month out, Bulldog was already looking at it. They had it fixed before a week had passed.They did an awesome job! This little none gem in Memphis is amazing. Just do it you will not be disappointed!

They quoted me 1000. For a bench job, but did not want to warrant the job at the end and called me to tell me after they agreed to 1000. They would only be Replacing the soft parts., they said they gave me a new torque converter, but I marked the one I took to them with my Trans. With outside knowledge and refusal to sign. Off on a 12 mo. Warranty it is suspected they only cleaned it up and painted my old converter and only adjusted the bands. 6 mo. Down the road the overdrive is acting stupid. Took it back and let them know and told them I thought something maybe wrong with the Crankshaft position sensor. They wanted 150. More., truck is still setting up can't afford to pay again!. Truck only has 99119 miles on it!!!Service: Transmission
