A few weeks ago, I went into Buff City Soap to pick up a gift for my wife. I knew she liked soap, but I really didn't know what to pick. Shell greeted me as soon as I came in, and then proceeded to help me pick out an assortment of items that my wife absolutely loved. Thank you, Shell, for the great suggestions. The shower oil was a great addition, and I wouldn't have known to look for it. Amazing service, and I felt welcome and like I was chatting with a friend.

Contact Darby, she is the greatest with a load of knowledge & very helpful. I was looking for a beard balm that isn't stocked any longer & she was able to create the fragrant that I requested. I highly recommend you to go by & see Darby @ Buff City Soap -Midtown Memphis. You won't be disappointed!

I'm from Memphis but moved several states over. I can't get enough of a certain seasonal smell and we just had a location open in my city that does NOT carry it. I am running out of the smell that I'm obsessed with and I've been in a panic.I called this store and Tatum gave me the recipe so I can tell the new store & they also gave me some other options as to how to get my hands on this scent. I love this place. I am so so happy with my experiences here and Tatum is a lifesaver.

Staff are great, and the scents they sling are even better. My favorite is their laundry soap, but you really can't go wrong with anything they make from soaps to bathbombs to lip chappy, it's the best.

Some of my favorite is copied in the picture. Me having sensitive skin, there natural soap works with me. Now make sure you moisturize after the bath bc it will have ur skin a lil dry. I am not a fan of strong scented soap so if that is you theu have both. Also they have soap for me. I think its neat they make the soap right in the store. It is a little costly per so but work it because its all natural. Its like 7 or 8 dollars for one. If the smells start to blend, they have coffee you can smell. They also make their own laundry detergent. I usually get the soft scented soap bc I can't have it really strong. On Tuesdays they have 4 soaps for $20. It will be a little strong when you walk in but if you stay towards the front, its not that bad.

What an amazing selection of soap! I had a hard time choosing. Everything smells so good, and the soaps are like little works of art. I could really blow my budget here. I bought a gift for my sister there, and they gave me a free sample that was a perfect accent to the gift I'd chosen. I'll go back next time we're in Memphis, and I'll probably order online, too!

I visited Buff City Soap for the very first time on today (12/29/2022). A young lady named Shell greeted me as soon as I walked in the store. She was so professional, polite, helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. She provided excellent customer service. She answered all of my questions. She helped me to know the differences of their products, what they did, and what they offer. After having such a horrible week of customer service experiences at other businesses all week, this was definitely a breath of fresh air and relief to receive such awesome customer service from her. The only downside is finding somewhere to park. It worked out, but I drove around the block for a while. It is hard to smell the different smells of the soap because when you walk in, it is an overwhelming loud scent of all the scents of soap. It's hard to differentiate the smells. But I am pleased with my purchase, my first-time experience, and the service. Thank you, Shell. Make sure you ask for Shell when you visit!

I went to the Cooper Young location. Parking is hard to find for me because I have an oxygen tank to drag around. Inside the store the employee was very helpful kind and courteous. I was buying a birthday present and was very knowledgeable of all the products.
