Too bad their gas doesn't match the price in their picture on here. But it's the only place in Memphis that sells high grade non ethanol. Although it's only 91 octane nowadays. Only other complaint is that their hours online doesn't match their actual open hours. But other than that it's a great store with friendly service

I used to drive from Lakeland to this BP to gas up my motorcycle because it’s one of the only 93 non ethanol stations around Memphis. All of a sudden they put 91 stickers on the non ethanol pumps and this is the reason I was giving from the clerk “there’s still 93 in the pumps but we put the 91 stickers on incase the fuel gets tested and it isn’t, for whatever reason 93 octane, we would then get fined due to the octane being lower than advertised.” This sounds insanely sketchy to me. If you aren’t confident enough that the product you’re buying is pure 93 octane then I’m sorry but you’ve just lost my confidence and a loyal customer.

Normally a very sweet lady in this store. Tonight was a man unfortunately, he decided to close about 15 to 20 min on an Saturday night. There were plenty of customers pulling up for gas. My car is broke down I hurried to get here before the said closing time of 12am. He then walks out gets in his car and leaves. Terrible experience.

Don't know why the effin clerk cldnt hand me the bathroom key just now. Some lame excuse about how she had had some man come and lock everything up outside so she didn't have to before she left? Thanks for nothing.

Balenger's has long been my favorite gas station in Midtown. 1st they're the only station in Midtown or even in Memphis that carries pure gas with no ethanol! What could be better than that? A giant beer cooler full of high gravity and interesting beers. How can you top that? How about an app that allows you to pay for gas before you even get out of the car and stores you're cents per gallon discounts ready for use! It's also worth noting that the employees are always super friendly at this gas station! I love this balenger's BP gas station!
