“I really enjoy the atmosphere of Barnes and Noble, and this one in particular is very clean and a pleasure to shop in. The Starbucks has a nice seating area and there’s of course a huge selection of books to choose from. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I wish they would expand their manga/comic selection.”

“Gotta say, there are bookstores...and then there are bookstores. This is a real deal bookstore for readers (and maybe a small nod to collectors). I could tell immediately that the staff was well-read (and not just because they struck up a convo about one of my favorite authors-I'm looking at you, fan of Amor Towles). It was just an energy (curiosity about what people are buying/browsing, but the decency to not interrupt/offer unsolicited advice). There's also a great cultivation of titles. I was impressed to find a solid selection of curently-talked-about-new-titles, local authors, classics, and my personal favorite, the staff recs. Also, there's several surfaces covered by dog pictures. I felt like maybe I was being pandered to...and frankly, I loved it.”

“This is the University of Memphis Bookstore. The closest free parking will be street parking on Walker Avenue. You can also pay for parking in the Zach Curlin Parking Lot which is almost next to it.In addition to having course books as well as lots of school supplies, they also have a nice assortment of non-academic books, University of Memphis swag, and a full Starbucks next to it. It isn't as nice as Novel (I don't think anything in Memphis is), but if you are in the neighborhood it is worth a stop. Friendly and helpful U of Memphis students work here!”

“A lovely little Christian book and supply store, clearly much in the Episcopal and Anglican tradition, but with attractive items for all Christians. Parking is abundant and off the street in shared lot with St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral.”

“I love bookstores and this was a nice one. Small, but with a great selection of local books and interests, and has that "old bookstore" vibe that invites you in. We visited during our trip to Memphis and bought a few local books.”

“I really like Ken, he is very helpful and personable, he treats you as if he has your best interest priority one. I've been twice and both times he had all the answers about the merchandise I was after, he took care of it and I was on my way. I will definitely shop there again.”
