Customer service is LACKING in the shoe department. Went to shop this morning around 10:30…..waited over a HALF HOUR to get the attention of the ONE older woman working the department. She was frantically running back and forth between the floor , on the PHONE THE ENTIRE TIME chatting it up with what sounded like a personal shopping experience she was giving someone. She evaded us each time we attempted to get her attention. Not ONCE acknowledging our existence or offering to help us or thank us for being patient. When we finally tried for the last time to ask for help she put her hand in our face with her finger out and stated VERY rudely, “Ma’am! I AM ON THE PHONE!”. We were BLOWN at her level of rudeness and complete lack of care. We got so tired of waiting that before making the decision too leave, sought help from another department. Thank you to Dell who assisted us and was kind. Shame on the shoe department woman- and sorry to tell management that there was hardly anyone in the entire store and she was SOOOO frazzled. Not a soul was in her department except for us. We won’t be back, but wanted to acknowledge Dell who was helpful and lovely.

Brought a return into the store and And the person working behind the return had a poor attitude And a general unwillingness to work on the return. He tried to tell me the jacket I was returning was not on the receipt and I clearly told him to compare the SKU number on the receipt to the SKU number on the jacket and he just walked off. I don’t know why Bass Pro hires these type of people. Finally, a lady came over and took care of it and 45 seconds. I think she was embarrassed with his behavior, laziness, and lack of enough intelligence to do the job. This was August 1, 2024 at approximately 4 PM.

I think the shop-keep was starting to get suspicious because of the mess I was making in the shoe department, but I found what I was looking for and am satisfied with my purchase.

I'm giving a 2 star because of the shopping and working conditions. It's so hot it makes it hard to look around. I know the workers have to suffer through this. Something needs to be done SOON. This heat makes you sick to stand inside. But on a positive note, the workers are great!

There is an angel that works there Outfitter's Name: Jennifer, I work in the VA Hospital Nursing Services. I saw the ad on the internet for so shoes with a perfect price when I got there come to find they were water shoes for wabing in deep water. My feet were screaming in discomfort, and I really needed a size 13 and a 1/2, She asked me to hang in there for just a minute. I turned around from looking at the rest of the shoes on the wall. See came back wit a box, I sat down and tried them on. I wa shocked didn't want to move at all almost speechless ?. She told me she had done the same for another guy. I figured out she must be an angel cause she took me to heaven. They were a clearance shoe. But to me they were real quality shoe. Well done BassPro,. Thank You Jennifer
