If you care for your loved ones, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your loved ones to this hospital ER. The rooms are not cleaned after patients are discharged. The RNs complained in front of the patients, some saying, "I leave at 230 that is all I care about". It seems the nurses spend more time gossiping and talking about there new shoes they are going to wear when they go out this weekend than listening to the patients. We as a family were in a ER room then was asked to set in the bed in hallway, because the heart monitor in the room did not work. This is the worst hospital either one of us had ever been to, and that is saying something considering I was in military.

Came in around 5ish a bite from a dog . I’ve only asked for something once was given an attitude. I have a few bleeding issues. The bite has started bleeding again. I’m told to basically wait . I’m holding gauze to it now. It’s starting to bruise and hurt really bad it’s swelling. I understand the wait but why rudeness. It says around a 2 hour wait. Well that is false. Treat us with respect. It’s around 7:30 pm this is so wrong . Hopefully I have another shirt in the car. They act like we are bothering them.

There are good people that work here and they want to make a difference. It was great to meet Lia L. and Laura C. Who work there.

The wait is way too long. My girls were diagnosed with strep throat. I’m 100% positive that’s why I feel there’s a knife in my throat. I’m just sitting here in pain, struggling to breathe still after 3 hours. There is no help, no since of urgency. Just sitting around looking at the same people that were here when I got here. It’s tragic!

This ER experience is horrible. I've been sitting here for 5 hours just to be told I have to wait another4 hours for a more thorough examination of my chest to see why I'm coughing up blood. I came here having chest pains, and immediately received an EKG, blood work was drawn, and I had a chest x-ray. No one has gone over the lab results with me, and the nurse practitioner has the nerve to tell me how many people are here. This setting is not an emergency setting. It's like a doctor's office. Now I clearly understand why people die sitting in a waiting room at the ER.

Brought my husband to the hospital at 2:30 pm, he was quickly seen by the emergency room staff. Doctors, and nurses were very attentive. We were notified at 7 PM that we were assigned a room, I check with the staff and they were saying that room was being cleaned. It is now 1 AM and not moved to a room. This hospital has a major problem with cleaning and organization, is quite obvious in the emergency area. Unbelievable!

DO NOT GO HERE! The lack of care my father has received during his stay this week is abuse! He has a PEG tube for nutrition and they only did half his feedings ( so half the daily nutrition he needs!) Even when called non-stop, took 6 hours to be handed his supplement for the family to give! He is starting to have skin break down from lack of being turned and cared for! We the family are doing ALL his care. Never ever go to this hospital and do not allow your loved ones there either!

The surgeon was excellent. The food service staff were great. The nurse did the best she could, but with 8 patients there is no way she could take care of everyone. We waited all day for PT to come around and it took the manager getting involved for them to show up. Then they could not get ahold of the provider for discharge orders. It’s 6 pm and we’re still waiting for discharge.

Wish I could leave a 0 for review, been here in waiting room since 6pm its now a bit after 8pm. Glass still in my daughter hand, she still complaining pain.. noone cares this is ridiculous.. blood still covered on hand and no attempt to clean it up or nothing. This is ridiculous! Adding to the uncaring and unprofessional actions this hospital has. After sitting there 3 hours without being seen blood still on hand with glass in it and child in pain we just left to find better service elsewhere. Not 1 time did they check on us or attempt to treat her injury, reminding you we never made it to the back.. been sitting in front lobby waiting for hours. My child blood was on thier hands! Worst hospital ever! Than once we had enough and decided to leave to go somewhere else.. they had the nerve to call my phone an hour later from when we left. So 4 hours you people are crazy! The audacity! I feel so sorry for all patients at this location! Someone needs to investigate this hospital too much wrong going on here. I know alot of health code violations has been broken. And restrooms are beyond disgusting worst than tha gas station restrooms and that's bad! Whomever is the CEO needs to do a check in, very disappointed!

Baptist Billing Team is a mess, just a bunch of incompetent folks. I had sent me copayment through my insurance. Despite sharing proof of payment and confirmation, billing team refuses to acknowledge payment. No response to phone calls or emails!

My friend Janie wood is in the hospital, she has had the worse experience, and they have treated her really bad! They will not give her, her pain medication on time! And they have been doing this to her 3 days, and for some one in pain this should not be done to someone who is in this much pain!

Baptist East Hospital need to step us and show more compassion for the patient in the emergency room. I was there with my sister and we were in the emergency room from 10:00 am until 10:15 pm in the waiting room. My concern about this situation is she was weak, vomiting, chest was hurting. I was concern about the fact that she was among other sick people and she was vomiting and we did not know if she had a terrible virus or something contagious an other people's are being expose to the virus. We had on a mask but other were sitting in the room with no mask on an was not told to put on a mask. Even some of the staff was not masked up. The public toilet was nasty. In the emergency waiting area a seat had wet solution in the seat an on the floor where someone could have slipped up. I told the desk nurse but it stayed like that I know for about 1 hour after I told someone about the situation. I know that in the emergency room all patients are top priority but to sit for that long is very unnecessary and she was being admitted to the hospital and the only thing they could tell us at the desk is they are trying to get her a room or we are waiting on someone to come and get her. So I know someone was lying and just trying to keep us pacific. I hope you all can improve your emergency room procedure CEO PAUL CADE. And the employees show more compassion toward the patients. I could tell you more but I think you get others complaints from other people. Also fix your elevators I was stuck in one of your elevators an I was told that it is always breaking down. It is not a very good feeling to be stuck in an elevator for no amount of time and being told to take slow deep breath. You may want to make a surprise visit and check things out CEO PAUL CADE so the sick can get better service doing their time of being I'll. Baptist East Hospital is supposed to be the best hospital. But I will rate it a 2 out of 5.

Baptist Minor Emergency (BME) - Cordova location.I visited this location Friday 02/09/24, arrived 11:30 am was finally seen at about 1:30pm. Triage was normal (check temp and BP), sent back to waiting area for about an hour. Taken back to exam room about 3:30, waited there about an hour, DR W.K. came in wearing a face shield and gloves, stood about 3feet away from me, asked me what my problem was, never touched me, did not examine me in any way. Told me I should go to the ER because "a higher level of care" was needed. Gave me a paper advising ER what to do BUT lied completely about BME's involvement in my treatment. Stated a non-sterile irrigation was done (it was not) and a telfa gauze bandage was applied (it was not) I got a band aid. I was show the door, the waiting room was dark, I was the last patient. I got the feeling because it was nearing 5pm closing time, they wanted me out.-I arrived at Baptist ER at about 5:30, waited 30-45 minutes, went through Triage again, DR and nurses came in, very professional, talked to me; Dr examined me, told me I did not need the care Dr. K. at BME had recommended. Gave me prescription for meds and sent me home. 24hrs later, I felt better.-My visit to BME was an awful awful experience. Dr. K. should probably be in a different profession if his bed side manner and service is not improved.
