DO NOT GO HERE! Worst Experience EVER! Wait time was 8 hours! Staff extremely rude and not compassionate at all about the JOB they applied for! Entire hospital just seems so filthy! Had to keep asking about the wait time while the staff was in the room with a glass window having a pizza party with a waiting room full of people!! this hospital is useless and a waste of money

Came in with a tooth infection. Nicholas Inman or Anthony Houston Not sure which guy it was but they Looked in my mouth for two seconds and Instead of them treating the infection by prescribing me with antibiotics. They gave me a shot for pain. When I suggested antibiotics to treat my infection they refused to treat my infection. Billed me 300 after waiting 4hours to be seen.

Worst hospital ever!!! They treat everyone like a drug seeker and they all sit and talk about patients out loud where others can here. Will definitely be contacting my attorney

The worst hospital we have ever visited. My husband was in severe pain. He almost passed out trying to make it to the restroom. The staff literally just stared at us. He had to lay on a bed in the hallway to keep from passing out. Three people walked by before an RN went to find a wheelchair and took him back to his room. There was no bed in the room. He then went for a Cat Scan and was returned to the waiting room. The hospital is nasty. There is dried blood and fluids on the walls and floor. The staff has no sense of urgency. It’s like they are numb to the severity of a patience illness.

A 2 hour wait for a half filled ER waiting room is crazy, but that was my experience here. As someone who works in healthcare, this facility is either managed extremely poorly, has bad operational processes, and/or is extremely understaffed. Either way this is not the care patients should be receiving. Also needs a deep clean/remodel.

Had to come back to the ER after recently being discharged from a 5 day stay. When I came back the second time the staff was very proactive in my care and my case especially with everything being so recent . I was able to get the surgery I need to stop the pain everything was causing . Doctors are great and the nurses on the 5th floor are extremely supportive and helpful!

I had originally given this hospital four stars and was so pleased with my care in the ER...until I visited my regular doctor and realized how easily they almost killed me. I was told I was suffering from a panic attack at the hospital. I was suffering from a sensitivity to antihistamines according to my normal doctor. I told the staff I had been taking Benadryl recently in the morning and at night for allergies. They obviously couldn't put two and two together with my symptoms. Plus, I was prescribed an "antianxiety" medication that is actually an antihistamine in the same class as the medication I was having a bad reaction to! Bonus screw up: I'm allergic to penicillin. Doctor found out that I had a minor infection while I was in the ER and prescribed me a drug closely related to penicillin that caused my throat to swell the next day. Appreciated that extra doctor's appointment the next day. I have the papers from the hospital that state clearly that I have that allergy. It also has the wrong birthday and my VERY COMMON last name misspelled. And the birthday was supposedly fixed in the ER that night because my husband caught that screw up when we were there. Bonus screw up #2: the orderly who made herself out to be a nurse and claimed she hadn't "looked at my chart yet." Why is an orderly ILLEGALLY looking at patient charts? This is like the Three Stooges of hospitals. Hope they don't expect payment. Already in touch with my insurance carrier and we will be contesting the bill on grounds of extreme negligence. They'll be lucky if I don't sue. A medical mistake took my mom's life 20 years ago, I don't let doctors get away with anything because of it. Thanks, Baptist. Your nurses are great and deserve a better work environment (they really are very nice and this review is aimed at the doctors and admin ONLY) but your doctors are HORRIBLE! I was originally shocked at the low yelp rating when I first reviewed. I totally get it now! And it's gone down in less than a week! It was 2.9. Now it's 2.3 before this review.

Spent 28 hours in this hospital for elective surgery. Came in through outpatient ambulatory was there until 11:30am on 8/8/23. They were wonderful in their care of me. Then on to the surgery suite again great staff and care. The problem came in when I was transferred to 2 south for overnight observation. My overnight bag I had been instructed to bring did not follow me to my room. Over the next 3 shifts I begged staff to find my bag as it had my glasses without which I am legally blind and my dentures I could not eat most of the food they brought me. Also missing my phone, credit card ID etc. My tablet and expensive smart watch used to monitor my Afib. The PCAs Dee and Jordan tried to help. The RN day shift was not helpful and even rude. I begged to be given my acid reflux med. RN stated would message doctor for an order 5pm 8/8 when I was discharged 11am 8/9 no order no medication. By 7pm I was in agony without it. RN offered me an oxycodone. I called my friend and had him bring me some from home and spare glasses. He saved my life. My bag was finally found in another patients room at 10am 1 hour prior to discharge. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING OF VALUE OR THAT YOU NEED TO THIS HOSPITAL. If someone cannot stay with your possessions all day have them bring it to you after you are in a room. This situation made for 18 hours on 2 south of misery and anxiety over my possessions.

This hospital saved the life of one of my family members, two times. Is this place perfect? No. Could certain aspects of the organization be improved? Yes. But, what else is new? Perfection is a elusive goal and cannot be expected or achieved at all times. That's why it's called the medical arts. The bottom line is that after many months of direct involvement advocating for my family member, I found this medical institution to be full of caring and competent professionals, who try very hard to do their very best.If I ever had to be hospitalized, I can think of far worse places to be.

Do not leave any of your personal belongings out. My uncle was on his death bed, and they stole MULTIPLE items from him. Such a sick world we live in. Families trust health professionals to care for their loved ones, and show them respect. We do not expect them to be thieves. If you steal from someone you most certainly do not care about their quality of life.

This hospital is nasty. There is dried blood on the floor in our room which they made us wait to “clean it”. The room looks like it hasn’t been clean in what I can only imagine is a month. Nurses are rude and they are slow event with extreme symptoms. This hospital is run down and dirty

So I had total knee replacement surgery yesterday. Still in the hospital today. I just wanted to give a shout out to my two nurses that were on the floor taking care of me. Laura on days and Zak on nights! You were both so awesome, you took great care of me. I couldn't have had better nurses. Thanks so very much. You both Rock! Jeff Room 261.
