I love banking with you. I was formerly with Bancorp South. 40 N. Pauline, Memphis, Tn. has a very friendly staff and their services are great. I’m a happy customer for life.

Cadence Bank's executive leadership has to be absolutely out of touch with why they are in business and who they serve. The bank's decision to close the Midtown location earlier this year is far from my comprehension. In a letter, I was informed that my accounts would be serviced at the Pauline branch (formerly BanCorpSouth). How horrible this location is. Looks like a prison or similar government building. Unappealing, grimy and unkept surroundings. The parking lot and drive-thru may as well not even be there. The set up is impossible and preposterous! Tell us how you really feel about the clients you serve is this neighborhood! This branch should have closed and Midtown should have remained open. The Pauline location indicates the lack of pride bank leadership possesses. What a poor representation. No pride can be taken from working at this branch. It's deplorable. I hate going. Never look forward to it as I did the Midtown branch. And when the Midtown banch was closed good employees lost their jobs. Such a daft decision by so called leaders.Today, I needed to go in person to initiate a wire transfer. I was told it would not be possible because the managers were in a manager's meeting. I said fine. I'll drive 30 miles (eye roll) to the Mendenhall branch. The bank employee then informed me that no one would be available at that branch to help me process a wire transfer either. She said all managers were unavailable because they were ALL in a manager's meeting!! SERIOUSLY?? Bank business cannot be conducted? And not just one branch, but allll the branches? I haven't heard of anything like this in donkey's years!! In 2023 this is happening - at a bank - in the USA.

I’m really impressed on how Tori took care of my transaction today, despite her knowing I called and complained about a issue I had at this location. She was kind, respectful, and professional! Way too go! ?

Small office of unprofessional and slow staff members. Poor parking layout. ATM access is limited and near impossible to complete transactions while remaining in your vehicle.

The parking is poorly constructed. The ATM access is poorly placed. The drive thru is extremely extremely slow.

If you are in the market for a home, Do Not use Kelvin Martin With BancorpSouth as your Lender. He is a habitual Liar. The most unprofessional person I have ever done business with period. I lost several thousand dollars dealing with this person because he told me that I qualified for a THDA (first time home buyers loan) and he told me that I would receive $7250.00 from BancorpSouth for closing cost. When it was time to close on my home he finally decided to do some work which pushed my closing date back several times before he realized that I actually made too much money to qualify for THDA and that the home I chose wasn’t in a 50% minority location thus disqualifying me from the $7250.00 he told me I was guaranteed to receive. This process took three months. I fired him and went with another lender that my agent worked well with and closed in TWO WEEKS!

Lazy textbook canned response answers from this branch. No commitment to understanding long term customer retention. Ways a bank can make money. Think they could give some leeway if you want to open up some different products with them? Mortage? Nah. Business accounts? Nope. Only looking to make money off their $36 NSF charges , even for transfers.

I came because I needed a last minute credit card. Tori helped me and she was extremely patient, made sure i knew what I was doing, and took her time with me despite being busy for the day. The staff was very friendly.
