“Everyone in the office has been very professional, friendly, and helpful. There were some pretty glaring maintenance issues when I first moved in (living room light not working, kitchen sink cold side leaking profusely underneath, and the front door not closing unless the deadbolt was locked), but maintenance got all these issues resolved within my first week of moving in. There are still some significant cosmetic issues that are very prevalent throughout the apartment, and the apartment was not cleaned well before I moved in, so I can't give 5 stars in good conscience since they do advertise as "luxury apartments". Those things aside, I am pleased with my apartment and thankful for everyone I have interacted with who works here. The complex itself also seems to be generally pretty quiet at all times of the day and night which is nice! A friend of mine used to live in this complex about 3.5 years ago, well before the management was switched, and I have to say that it is a marked improvement from the state that it was in previously lol.”

“Just moved in a few weeks ago and so far my living experience has been great. Ms. Velva was the leasing agent who assisted me and my husband with our apartment search and got us in time for a move in special they had going on.As we know, moving is expensive and any chance to save money is a huge plus. So far the community is very quiet and we’ve even been getting better sleep here lol. The amenities are nice and internet is included with your rent which is great so far! Another thing that is a plus is they offer a package locker for the residents to ensure you receive your packages. There was some maintenance that needed to be taken care of we noticed once we moved in but the manager was happy to take my list of items and relay them to the maintenance team to have them addressed in a timely manner. So far everything has been great!”

“Living at The Chisca on Main so far has been a great experience. I want to highlight the amazing staff who made the move-in process much smoother. Bridget, the property manager, and Katylin in the leasing office were rock stars. Renting an apartment can be stressful principally in Memphis, but they were incredibly efficient, helpful, and communicative navigating everything quickly and clearly.
My first week here a snowstorm led to burst pipes in the city. I have to give a huge shoutout to Bridget and the team. She was responsive, quickly assessing the situation, and took action to make things right to accommodate residents who were without water, offering temporary solutions and keeping everyone informed throughout the process.
The building itself is beautiful, with a rich history that adds a unique character to the apartments. The location is noisy, but we are in the heart of downtown, and will be noisy. Even though there's some construction going on, the cleaning crew keeps everything spotless - major props to them for keeping things tidy under these circumstances! The maintenance crew on site is important. They are also great, fast, and efficient when fixing any issues. Everyone here is respectful and friendly, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

“I just moved last week and so far it has been a great experience. The move In process was smooth. The office employees are very nice. When I moved there was a problem with my toilet and one of the outlets. I put in a maintenance request and they came the same day and fixed it. Its in a quiet area and the neighbors are friendly. I recommend these apartments it's worth the rent.”

“You can't please everyone. People find things wrong with anything, but these apartments were a Godsend to me. I read the reviews and hesitated on even looking at a unit here when I moved back to Memphis. However, based on my budget and the area it was a good fit so I thought I would give it a try. I grew up in Raleigh area and have good memories. The leasing agent was so nice. He is funny too which made me feel more comfortable. The property manager was professional and explained everything. LET ME TELL YOU.... LOOKS CAN BE DECIVING- THEIR REMODELING IS GORGOUS. My apartment is so cute and I feel like I moved into a brand new apartment. With the prices of apartments and rental houses now, Gardenwood is a blessing to us single moms with kids. I feel safe and I feel like I matter.”

“I'm extremely satisfied with this community, a week ago I left for work on a rainy day and came home to a pool! My entire downstairs was flooded... I didn't know where the flood was coming from until I looked in the pantry and realized the hot water tank had busted. Panicking , I called the office and Melody got right on it !!! When I went outside I saw Chad, one of the maintenance men taking care of the trash at the dumpster. I made him aware of what was going on and with no hesitation he asked if I wanted him to wait till I got back or if I wanted him to take care of it right away ! In this same day there was a dehumidifier set in the house to drain the water out and Chad and Mike installed a brand new hot water heater in the pantry!!! Everything was taking care of the same day with no hesitation. The staff in this community does all they can to make sure everything is taking care of and I forever appreciate them for that. Thank you Highland Chateau and staff .”

“Love it. The walls are paper thin tho. I know someone who lives there. Their apt has a pool view, which is cool. They love it. In the summer, right out the back door into the pool. Bar Ware right next door if u want to go out and have a drink but don't want to go far. Really right around everything, including Beale Street. Htatt Centric is across the street. We walk everywhere when I go down there. There is a parking garage across the street and street parking. Good luck with that (street).”
“I lived in the Memphis Exchange Building for 6 months during a work trip. The apartment is excellent for this purpose - it had everything you need. I especially liked the central location in downtown - everything can be reached quickly. I also liked the direct contact with the host, who always helped me quickly (maintenance, financials, questions), and the super friendly staff to which I've build up a friendly connection.Thank you for the pleasant stay”
