Worst CPR class ever! I have been taking CPR classes since 1998 for my job and I never experienced the lack of professional at this level in my life! She failed all of us and we were told that we could review if we failed and that was not the case at all! I was humiliated in front of my peers over my skills and when I asked what I was doing wrong I was told to figure it out on my own! She was very unprofessional and the class consisted of her reading videos and asking us how to pronounce words on the screen. We weren’t given enough time to study and there was a code sheet that we never went over and most of the questions came off of this sheet! She was on her AirPod answering personal phone calls during our training and her phone kept ringing. This was such a waste of a whole day and we still don’t have our CPR cards! She obviously is not qualified to teach this course. This was paid for my employer and I encourage other companies needing this training to NOT use the Red Cross in Memphis for any company CPR training. Never had a problem with American Heart Association training whatsoever.

The Red Cross was no help to my Mother. Its christmas eve. A main broke in her senior citizens building. It is flooded . They have been notified there will be no water until monday .My mom is 71 in a wheelchair. With diabetes, high blood, a dialysis patient & she also uses a c pap machine. I made them aware of all of these things. I was told unless its a fire there is nothing they can do for her ! So sad Memphis ! Do Better !

Attended an informative presentation on becoming a disaster volunteer. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff and volunteers helped explain the program processes, procedures for joining and other services the red cross provides.

I went to donate blood today. I made an appointment but was about 5 minutes late. There was one guy finishing up and 3 people working the drive. By the time one of them actually came over to me (7 minutes after my appointment) I was told that the person who needed to check me in had left because I was more than 5 minutes late. They still got me checked in but sadly my iron levels were too low to donate. While they were finishing with me another woman showed up to donate, explained about a tree being in the road which caused her to be late, but they refused to take her. Considering all the stuff I hear about there being a blood shortage I am appalled by this behavior. One of the ladies working was on a the donor bed/lounge chair things, half asleep, and didn't get up at all. I expect better from Red Cross... but I guess I'll try to donate next at St. Jude or one of the other orgs.

Wherever the mission takes them... they go! The ARC is one of the oldest and most reliable rescue agencies known throughout the world. Memphis is blessed to have an ARC location here.

First of all this is Courtney Pierson the lil lady Face that you see is my daughter my phone was damaged in the water two days ago when Peppertree apartments was set on fire on purpose. The fire department broke out the big holes The ones that are connected to the fire truck that pressured water was bouncing off of the building and hitting the Unit that I live in the water burst through the window and water just poured all in my son apartment for over an hour two. I tried to contact Red Cross simply to ask them could they help me get my clothes washed some sort of way through one of these local laundromats around the way and they gave me the number 211 I called 211 and they asked me to call red cross and the lady on the phone at 211 told me to go to your local church and all I simply needed was help with getting my clothes washed. I have like over 12 loads of clothes that were damaged by the fire department and I can’t get no help. I don’t know what to do right now I don’t know Where to start but I guess I’m going to get out of this depression and figure it out since red cross or 211 wont help my family there my son clothes

I will give red cross zero Stars if I can after experiencing a house fire with my two boys six and nine years old they told me it was nothing they could do after my feelings was ripped out by the fire department which I understand them doing their job water turned off and because electricity wasn't off the exact night that it was after code enforcement said they had to be turned off they said they couldn't give me nowhere to stay not a voucher for a hotel nowhere and it's just sad that the people that claim they will help you through hardship they don't so I just don't understand what are their job descriptions if they're not really helping people that are in need unless they feel like it's fit for them to help you no water no electricity no nothing and you can't help me because they want turned off it is exact minute that the fire department tore out my house
