This company is not to be trusted. I have had a warranty with them for a year and a half now. Two weeks ago I placed a service request for an oven repair. After sitting on the phone with their representatives DAILY, I still do not have a service appointment and have not been reached out to by their vendor. I have asked for a superior to call me back several times to no avail and after finally receiving an email from one of their ‘Research Officers’ named Ice Lusica that person never replied to my initial response and also never followed up with the follow up call and resolution that he promised last Friday. I spoke to yet another one of their nonempathetic reps on the phone yesterday who flat out told me that their vendor will not be giving me an appointment and that they have no resolution for me and would be keeping my service fee. What?!! I have now been forced to hire a contractor on my own although this company has taken my money. I have also been forced to contact the BBB, the Attorney General and the American Arbitration Association.
I have no idea how they are getting these good reviews on google but it has to be a scam. I searched online today and there are masses of complaints and facebook groups who have been scammed by them. I wish I would have done my research sooner, as this has been one complete headache.
Nevertheless, evil never wins. I am God (Yah’s) child and I will get my money and peace back!

It took 4 visits to get my air conditioner repaired but each time was prompt and professional.
The service man was very kind and professional each time he came. I'm confident the problem was completed with care.

After several attempts to get my ice maker repaired….Mohamed was phenomenal and explained how I should prepare for the second visit because the refrigerator needed to be turned off for thawing so the ice maker component could be removed. Top notch… Incredibly grateful for his expert advance and professional work. Thank you!

They are refusing to cancel my service, despite it having been paid for in full for a year as a result of a home purchase. I never agreed to monthly installments.

Each time I have had to call and have a service call, I have been very satisfied with the service technician. They have had to order parts and return to complete the work, at no additional cost.

AHS immediately sent a qualified and understanding appliance technician who assessed our washing machine and explained his assessment. When AHS determined it was in our best interest and theirs to replace the washing machine, they did so immediately. I am rather impressed with the quality of service and speed with which this claim was handled.

We are very happy with the services and repair by the company/technician used by American Home Shield. We dreaded having to deal with a warranty company after hearing myriad scenarios of delayed repairs, bad repairs, contractors not showing up, etc. However, our son insisted on providing a policy for our new (old) home, and we are so happy he did. Calling for service was easy and efficient, and the response was immediate. The contractor was knowledgable, professional, and efficient, and diagnosed the situations correctly. Our issues were completed as soon as the ordered parts arrived. Thank you. MaryAnn

Ukon Repair’s service is very poor!
My refrigerator started to make noise again after several days technician came.
He said it was fixed, and there was no noise, but I’m having the same problem.
I called many times, left messages,
But NO return calls!!!
Please solve this problem without charging me.

After 5 attempts and 4 weeks of trying to have our refrigerator repaired, the issue was still not resolved. This happened with a repair on our AC unit as well. Both issues were never resolved and we had to repair outside of AHS. Cancelled the service.

American Home Shield did everything from contacting a repair person to getting the job done in a timely manner. The process was very easy and fast. I was extremely satisfied with their service.
