We had a fantastic experience with Lanigan for a move from Memphis to NE Ohio. We had shopped around for various quotes and Allied were the most competitive. Excellent communication from Patrick. Chris and his crew showed up perfectly on time and were extremely professional and efficient. They helped us pack large artwork and lamps and carefully wrapped all furniture. Everything arrived intact and in perfect condition. We had prompt delivery in Ohio as well. We have made multiple long distance moves in the past 5 years and the team at Lanigan have been the absolutely best.

We have used Allied Van Lines for our last two moves, and our experience has always been positive. The people are what make the difference, and in our recent move the relocation team was the highlight of the process. The team was fast, efficient, friendly, and masters of "moving truck Tetris"! We would certainly use Allied Van Lines again for future moves!

For the most part, the move went well. However, we had to have a two-stop unloading process due to our circumstances. The Packers supposedly labeled all things going to the storage unit and labeled all things going to the home. But then they wrapped everything in heavy blankets and didn't label the blankets. So we had to unwrap a lot of things to see what was under the blankets which was a very time consuming task. (The packer forgot an item too.) All the keys were dumped together UNLABELED and I'm still trying to figure out which keys go with which piece of furniture. I offered to label the keys "bookcase", "music cabinet", "armoire" but he wouldn't allow me to do that. However, the unpackers were very kind and patient. Kudos to David Johnson and Kyle Prescott!! The date of delivery was inconvenient because I had to miss 5 hours of quality time with my faraway grandchildren who were visiting the weekend Allied insisted on delivering instead of waiting til the next Monday. Very annoying. Nothing was broken.

Had a formal walk through before the move. Choose Allied despite being more expensive for better insurance and assuming they would treat our items with care. Packing took all day because the truck sent was way too small. They tore up the entire house at the start of the day, leaving us no where to sit. Our couch was on it's end despite being packed almost last. They blocked our car in by parking in the driveway, preventing us from leaving without asking if we needed to move it out. Upon delivery it was rushed, the house was left filthy (dirt everywhere). We laid extra for treadmill disassembly which was not properly performed and they dented out wall when moving the treadmill just from not being cautious. Finally we were forced to sign in a rush so the driver could get back on the road, but before we could read the contract.Recommend looking for someone else.

Price quoted is what I paid. A very pleasant experience...starting with Patrick who came out to provide a quote based on actual contents to be moved. The driver, Kevin was also very courteous and genuinely cared took responsibility and took care handling my furniture.

Unfortunately I didn't receive all of my belongings upon delivery and some of my furniture arrived damaged. The only positive aspect of my experience with Allied was the prompt communication I received from the driver during pick up and drop off of my belongings. This was my first experience with an out of state move. I recommend making a detailed list of all belongings so you can file a claim as soon as the move is complete if needed. Be mindful of how much Extra Care Protection (ECP) you select for your move - it may end up being useless.
