I'm not one that thinks about leaving reviews but as I was checking their hours for today (open until 8pm on Saturdays!), I was SHOCKED to see ANY negative reviews. This prompted my own...I have had Dr Nerland as my primary care Dr for 3 1/2 years. He helped me identify my health issues and prioritize the order of getting them fixed and sent to the appropriate specialists. To say he saved my life is an understatement. I was hauling around 40lbs of excess fluid, a 12mm kidney stone, a dead gallbladder and an undiagnosed autoimmune disease. I was a MESS. I had 25 years of doctors across the state that didn't connect the dots (I didn't, either). After seeing the change in me, my daughter and spouse are now his patients, as well. My anti-dr daughter got her autoimmune disease diagnosed and treatment started early so, hopefully, she won't suffer as long or have as much permanent damage at my age. She is also seeing tremendous results. The Jackson Clinic as a whole has had some policy changes that I'm not in agreement with but, I understand why they changed. Dr Nerland knows and acknowledges my concern and I definitely don't hold it against him or anyone at the Medina Clinic. The only thing that would make me change PCP's would be if they quit taking my insurance...but I'm ahead of that, too. I make sure they are covered at every open enrollment! Now, I'm off to get my mom there today and get checked for a UTI!

We had the best experience today with Dr. Nerland and his nurses/staff. They were all very polite, we didn’t have to wait very long, and easy check in process! Dr. Nerland and his nurses were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and didn’t push vaccines on us when we declined them for our son. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Dr. Nerland and his Lead Nurse were efficient, informative, thorough, and friendly. The nurse that took my blood had excellent fine motor skills! My whole family sees Dr. Nerland and his staff, and we will continue as long as he is actively practicing. My visit was so efficient that I only got 1 page in my book finished from waiting room -> exam room -> to exiting the clinic. Highly recommend! Thank you to these Healthcare providers, under appreciated heros!

We live a hour away from the Dr. My wife has a stomach bug and has issues with vomiting. The nurse refused to let me talk to her doctor in hopes to get a prescription for fenigran. She just kept repeating "we don't have an opening" the heck with an opening!

Absolute last time I go to this place. I hurt my wrist and the idiot doctor dared to ask me “if I see a dentist” like no I have never been to one come on! I have fluorosis so my teeth are discolored from childhood but very healthy with no cavities exe… seriously concerning a “DOCTOR” doesn’t know what that looks like! Just made me feel even worse about the appearance of my mouth. The time before that I went to see them because I had a uti and they told me to go to the er turns out it was a uti but it cost me $1500 to find that out…Thanks so much!

I couldn't get in to see my doctor so I went to the Medina Clinic. I was seen by Michael Martin. He was rude, impatient & condescending. He was awful! He did nothing to help me. Basically I took $30 & threw it in the trash. I will never go there again!

If you want horrible service then go see Nurse practioner Haley Nelson. She will argue with you and tell you that the er is an option. She treated me like I was 2 yrs old.

Jackson clinic of Medina is a great asset to the community. Wait times may be more than expected but you have to consider the current circumstances of the pandemic. The providers provide a great care and and treat accordingly.

I called yesterday to speak with someone about an appointment with a Pulmonologist. The woman that schedules the appointments was rude and dismissive. This is not the first time I've spoken with her and her demeanor is always the same, unpleasant. There are numerous people who are having problems with their lungs due to Covid and need to see a Pulmonologist and it's a shame that she is the person that you have to speak with. I have scheduled an appointment with a physician in Memphis and will never refer anyone there.

My husband & I went to the clinic in Medina with what we thought was sinus, bad cold….nothing major. We were wrong & we both tested positive for the COVID. We were treated with the utmost respect & excellent care. We were there a long while, but it was fine…because we were constantly being updated about what was next, X-rays, educating us on what the best treatment for us going forward & just being kind & personable. Yes, it was a long day, it was a scary day, but we felt so good about our visit. The staff was professional and they truly cared.
