The tire pressure light came on in my vehicle and typically when this happens I’ve got something stuck in one that needs to be fixed. I tried 2 other places before calling Rod’s who said they could check it out for me without it being hours before they could get to it. They were up front with cost if they needed to patch a tire. After inspecting all of them, the technician found that just all of my tires pressure was low and they aired them up and I was good to go. They did not even charge me! They were super nice and professional!

Rod's tire and auto is a great place for service. Always reasonable, they also respect my time. Appointments are usually required but they will work you in when they can. I trust my 14 year old Tacoma to their mechanics.

I went in for alignment, with all brand new front end parts already installed. They told me it would take an extra hour to align it, because it was out so bad. I hope it was worth the extra $100 dollars to them for the extra shop time to never get my business again. Mechanic explained to me it was taking him longer to do it, so it would cost more. His lack of skills cost me more shop time? I'm pretty certain this is all a ghemic because they normally want to tell you "we can't align it until you spend this 2k on parts and installation, oh and we can finance that for you".
On tip of all that, I watched them literally rip people off for two hours. Pour little lady come in for a tune up and they charged her $95.00 to replace her air filter, with a $20 filter delivered by oriellys. This was after she sat for 1.5 hours.
Then watched them tell a pour woman with her ac out on her old Kia, it was going to cost her 2700 to get her ac fixed. Told her the compressor was $1500. A quick Google and found them all over the internet, at most around $250.
Steer your car far from this place.

I HAVE TO GIVE THIS PLACE 5 ☆☆☆☆☆!!!! I have never seen or heard of a mechanic shop going this above and beyond for it's customers! I took my car in today 8/19/24 and they are currently at time of review working with my warranty company on my vehicle. They have excellent customer service and they brought me back home and have delivered a loaner vehicle while mine is in midst of repairs. I will take my vehicle nowhere else ever! This is what a mechanic shop should be!

We took my husband’s jeep to Rod’s because it wasn’t shifting properly. They looked at , drove it and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. No charge. We will be back.

If our family can give more than 5 stars we would. Our experience from beginning to end was hands down great. When our compressor went out and later found out our mass air flow sensor went out on our road trip. We called different shops that were not answering or on lunch and couldn’t help us. We call Rod’s Tire and Automotive and told us to come in. They offered us a loaner car to get our kids lunch and later a car to complete our trip since our van had to stay over the weekend.
The only rule they gave us was to enjoy our trip and we did. I would highly recommend them for your needs especially if you are having issues while on the road.

Brakes were repaired adequately within warranty specs & done in a timely manner. I love dealing with Rod’s. I live in Jackson, but don’t mind making the drive to get good service.

For 5 years we've been satisfied with Rod's. The work was always completed in a reasonable time and the quality was top-notch.
I took my pickup in for suspension work and they told me after they had already done the work that they can't align my truck. Before this,my truck was arrow straight going down the road, now it pulls the right.
Update: Rod's reached out to me to resolve the situation. The part that upset me the most is that I knew I could get the work done for considerably less somewhere else, but Rod's has always performed quality work.

Bad experience, wouldn't recommend.
I took my 2024 Honda in for an oil change. After picking it up and driving it home, I could hear metal dragging loudly underneath my car. I brought it back, and they said that one of the pieces hadn’t been secured as the “new guy” had done my oil change. They then said they fixed it and refastened it. But, I still took it to the Honda Dealership the next day to make sure there was no damage as my car is leased. Honda said my entire metal skid plate was gone. So, instead of admitting that my skid plate was damaged, Rod’s took off my skid plate and didn’t tell me….
I called them and said my skid plate was missing, and they said to bring it back, so they could assess the damage. They admitted the damage was due to their oil change and ordered me a new skid plate, which took a week and a half to arrive. I then had to take it back a week later for them to put the new skid plate on my car.
I had a regular oil change on June 11 and finally on June 25, my car is back in order. I asked for a refund on my original oil change for convenience because I had to take my car to the Honda Dealership and to Rod’s 3 more times after my oil change due to their error. They said no because they “ate the $150 cost for the skid plate.” I said that made sense because the skid plate damage resulted from their oil change...
I wasted a lot of time and gas money going back and forth for them to fix what they broke and wasn't compensated for it. Would definitely recommend going somewhere else to avoid the hassle.
