Rude customer service for no reason. A mistake was made by a 3rd party in my order and instead of a simple “I’m sorry that happened” the company rep was just rude and snarky. I would have taken a simple apology. I’ll find somewhere else to buy and suggest others do the same!

I've shopped here twice, the first time for a chimney for my oil lamp and the second time for a globe for a lamp. Both times the service was excellent. The employees have been so helpful. The store is stunning. They have anything and everything you could need for a lamp. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!!

I purchased a lamp shade for $47 and it wasn't deep enough for my lamp. I contacted their customer support over 5x trying to exchange the shade - I used both emails on their website and the website form, but never heard back after a few weeks. I eventually mailed it back as a return and was refunded $25.

Stay away from this seller! Just because they take your order doesn't mean they have the part in stock. They'll just ship you whatever part they have laying around. Sure, if you complain they will eventually refund your purchase price, because they already made their profit on you with their exhorbitant non refundable shipping costs. Shop elsewhere.

I purchased Wired, 6 inch fitter Fixture Holder, 6 3/4 inch dia. Post states wired. The fixture was not wired. It shipped with loose parts in a bag. Very misleading. Buyer beware. They should change the wording to not assembled. REQUIRES ASSEMBLY!!

Terrible customer service. I wanted to exchange a lampshade for a smaller size and was told to send it back via USPS. However, the post office would charge $80 to send it back due the the size of the box, which obviously is not feasible for a $120 shade. When I informed customer service, they said they'd be happy to accept an exchange and suggested I send it back via the post office. I already said I tried to send it back via the post office, so I don't think they even heard my concern. I have purchased several items here in the past, but they have now lost my business.

I had ordered a replacement reflector globe for a lamp, and after I received it and made sure it fit, I asked the representative for recommendations on a fabric lampshade that would fit over the globe. Instead of any specific recommendations she directed me to the codes for sizing. To say it was confusing to find a shade would be an understatement, consequently, I ended up getting the wrong size. When I emailed the company, the representative said something to the effect 'you need F203G (not the actual part)'. I asked why I couldn't have been given that information when I first asked the question. Anyway, I returned the $75 item and paid $44 shipping. Two weeks after the tracking indicated they received the item, still no refund. I'll just shop someplace else!!!

Amazing help! I received a old lamp I know nothing about that had bad electrical. I sent them some photos and they responded quickly asking me to take some specific measurements then sent me links to the right parts! Now I have a beautiful and safe lamp, thank you!

My first time ordering from this company, so I was not familiar with the details needed to order a lamp harp and finial for a new lamp, purchased elsewhere.I found an 8" harp on the website and ordered it. I also located a nickel plated finial, for which there was not a very big selection.I placed my order and the package arrived in a few days.I placed the harp on my lamp and when I placed the finial onto the harp, I found the finIal was too lage and would not screw onto the harp.When I called the company, I was told that the screw and the finial had different diameters.I have purchased finials in lamp stores before, and have never encountered finials fitting certsin size harp screws.Returning the 2 finials is certainly not worth my effort, but there should be something on the ALS website to alert customers that they must match up the size of the finial with the screw on the harp.

The person in customer service was so helpful. I sent pictures of the inside of my lamp, she was able to give me the part numbers and help me get my new switch ordered. I just replaced my old one and my lamp is back and functioning like new! So happy!
