I'm surprised that I am the first person to write a review on yelp. I guess that's because, obviously, most foodies aren't often eating at convenience stores. For a combo of strange reasons, I just did. And I liked it!They have some sub sandwiches but I imagine a lot of their customers come in for the fried chicken. Today, they had fried fish and I tried that and honestly, it was quite good. They had had a run of orders so I got my large one piece fried on the spot. It was piping hot, well breaded but not too heavy, and really tasty.As you might expect, most of the sides are fried also, but they had a good variety of such fried items. I chose the cheesy tots and they were really good. I would have liked to have more sides because they also had fried okra and fried mushrooms and I like both of those usually. This side of Maryville doesn't have many good places to grab a cheap and quick lunch, but I will now add this place to that list when I want some "comfort food" style fried chicken or on Fridays, fish.
