Foothills has been a god send for me this year! I've been able to purchase plants, and they've come & planted them! I had a problem with our dogs getting muddy, and they've helped me with rocks, & beautiful design. They're quick and friendly. I highly recommend them!

I was there the same day/time of the guy complaining about the topsoil and from what I saw, he was told the topsoil was already sold. To me if they have already told him it was sold (which it was) then it was sold. No reason he couldn’t have came back another day to get some that wasn’t sold.
ANYWAY, I always have the most pleasant experience here! Everyone is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, etc. I will never not shop here! Great plants, produce, service, and more! Prices are very affordable especially for the quantity of things you receive! We love foothills plants and produce!

I drove over to buy a scoop of topsoil. I saw there was a large pile of it. I was told they WOULDN'T sell me a scoop because they were "on a job" and that I should come back in 2 days. I guess you never know when they're "on a job", so it's a bit of a gamble.
Then the guy tried to sell me "composted leaf mulch" and said it was just as good as topsoil for planting trees. Umm, yeah right. That lightweight stuff won't hold a tree in the ground! Obviously they don't know much about plants, or else the guy thought I was clueless.
My business isn't worth one scoop of topsoil, I admit. Hopefully the next business at this location will understand how to run it properly.

I had driven by on the way to projects in Townsend, but never thought much about stopping. As a contractor, I typically stick to the more familiar places for materials. I was surprised how easy they are to work with.
I have been about five times now in the past two weeks. They radio the guys in back and it has only taken them a couple of mins to get the machine to the front. I’ve seen 2 different guys on their skid and both did a great job. Nice fat scoops directly over my trailers axles.
No one wants to be petty by mentioning a scoop of rock being small or weight distribution but it’s surprising how often you must. Haven’t had to worry about that hear.

About 30% higher prices than the big orange store...Is anyone reviewing this business besides people who work there?

Had a little problem with something I got from there. I called and expected the run around but didn't get it. They fixed the problem and then some with no issues.

Went to Foothills plants & produce to get a pumpkin to carve with my girls. Tons of selection at very reasonable prices. Got a large one for $6.00. They have every plant you could ever want for your yard. Got mom some azaleas a while back. This place sells specialty grocery items like Benton's country bacon, Amish goods, honey, jelly and jam. They also have dirt, mulch, gravel and rock. If you want that special plant or a pound of excellent bacon this is the place to stop.
