I highly recommend this dealership. Very friendly employees who were very helpful. I came in with a set price that I didn’t want to exceed and they did all they could to make sure that price was met. Got a great deal on the truck and it runs amazing.

This place is terrible. They sold my 18 year old a truck that gave him trouble the day he got it home. I’ve called twice to ask them to make it right and they refuse. When I called the first time telling them the transmission is coming out, they said “ oh yeah we had it rebuilt” - which they never told us. They told us to take it back where it was rebuilt because it was under warranty. We made another 6 hour round trip to do this. Transmission was not fixed again- so now we are having to take it see where else to have it fixed. Don’t waste your time or money here. This truck has multiple problems and they ripped off an 18 year old getting his first truck and won’t make it right.

I recently bought a truck from Ideal. Asked if they would put their kid in the vehicle and was told it was very reliable without a doubt. Now about 2 weeks in the check engine light came on. Issue with catalytic converters it seems now. Also, turned AC on and it didn't blow cold. Had it checked and found that the evaporator is supposedly leaking too. We are currently in talks but I have gotten quotes it is going to cost us a little over 3700 now to replace catalytic converters and evaporator.
I will update review on how this all turns out.
Dropping to one star because I was supposed to receive a call 2 days ago about the cost of an evaporator. Also dropping the one star because being told I was informed about emissions and catalytic converter which I was not or I never would have touched foot in this vehicle. Also now I'm paying about 6 to 9 grand more than what the truck is worth to get everything fixed and repaired. Blue book is only 9 to 12 thousand. I did pay over because of the lift kit and stuff. Usually I wouldn't but I know that threw it up a little more and now I'm going to be out another 3700 to replace the catalytic converters and the AC evaporator. So this leaves me to believe that the code was cleared prior to selling the vehicle knowing there was an issue with emissions and until you can prove me wrong, that is my belief as I am footing this bill now. So word to the wise, I learned my lesson so you don't have to.
So, no call or anything. Out over 3k for repairs and you can make sure this will be made known across the board and everywhere I can. Half tempted to contact news and see if they will do a story because I don't want anyone else to get caught up with this type of issue either. Buyer beware!
Update - still no contact and filed info to BBB and no response to them either. I believe the next step will be contacting the local news to see about doing a piece so no one else gets swindled. I believe we have gone above and beyond in trying to give benefit of the doubt and no response. I really wanted to be able to resolve this and give a good rating but I don't see that happening now.
After reaching out on website still no contact. I will never deal with a used dealer again thanks to Ideal and definitely not dealing with them ever again. Lesson learned and I wasn't going to list names but they don't seem to feel it is important to reach out to resolve this and the salesman was Nick. Nick advised me multiple times he would get back with me and never did. Once again buyer beware!
Update as of 7/22/24 the owner finally responded to a BBB post and denied everything as well. I recently took this same truck to have differential and transmission checked as mileage states to do and guess what? I was informed that the truck had been submerged partially in water. They changed my fluids and advised that water was mixed with the fluid and you could hear the bolt make a noise that it would only make had it been in water. Heck, by the time I am done I will have a brand new truck. But all I have to say is stay away from I-deal on Hwy 411. I am in over 5K now for a used vehicle that they knew about and hid all these items. Buyer beware and run from this place. I don't want anyone else to get caught up like we did.

Drove four hours round trip to look at a lemon. I asked extensive questions about the vehicle's upkeep and condition before we drove out, was guaranteed it was clean and in good working order except for a couple of tears in the seat. When we got there, the truck was leaking oil (on a 6 year old truck!), there was evidence it had been run hot with too little oil in it, the backup camera didn't work and needed to be serviced, the front brakes had new pads put on worn rotors, and the check engine light came on 5 minutes into our test drive. The salesman Nick told me that he had put a lot of money into the car, gave it a new paint job and made sure it was in good shape and had got it from a buddy of his, but basically ignored us when we got to the dealership and claimed ignorance about these obvious problems. Complete waste of my day off.

Nick was friendly and easy to work with. We were in and out in less than an hour - including test drive and paperwork! The deal we got was great. The car background report gave us peace of mind too as this was a car for our 17 year old high school senior. No pressure, great selection, upfront pricing and no bull. This is the place to shop.
There are no guarantees with used cars so I don't understand why people give bad reviews on something that outright isn't even guaranteed?
I know there's no warranty on the car we bought so if something happens outside the blatant negligence or deliberate fraud covered by lemon laws, it's not the dealership's fault.
This is not a paid or fixed review. I'm a legit completely satisfied customer. Check them out.
They're worth your time if you're in the market for a used car. But remember that - it's a USED car. If you don't like chances and want a warranty, buy new or get one of those aftermarket warranty coverage programs.
Thanks for the great deal and beautiful car Nick!

In the past 7 years I've bought two cars from the salesman named Nick. I've enjoyed both cars. I got great deals and reliable cars.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible salesmanship, and just overall manners. Just like other small used car “dealerships” they have keep one nice looking car at an affordable price on their website. You get there and it’s “just been sold.” The man didn’t even bother to step outside away from the entire cake he was eating to show me another vehicle I was interested in. Just handed me the keys. He only came outside to yell at me when I increased the RPMs and you could clearly hear how terrible the engine sounded. Car was junk. Interior smelled and looked horrible. Power windows and locks didn’t work. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies.

Please do not put trust into this place or believe the "Good reviews" I have done a review on this place before and it seems that it has just disappeared. Basically somebody is altering the reviews to make them look good and deleting the rest. I can promise the bad out weighs any of the good for this buisness.

Me and my wife called last week about a vehicle they had for sale and if it was still available and talked with Jacob. He informed me that it was still there and gave a few details about it over the phone before we made the drive over. We arrived a little later that afternoon and met Jacob that let us look at the vehicle and do a test drive on our own with no pushy sales. (Really appreciate that aspect) we noticed a small issue with the vehicle during the test drive that was brought to their attention. Me and Jacob discussed the problem with it and he made some phone calls to local shops to have it looked at. After getting a few quotes for the issue and me able to fix the issue we just worked out the price to reflect the quotes. The whole process was very easy and straight forward with Jacob and he wanted to make sure that I was ok with the whole process and that they didn't want me to have a problem with the vehicle. Me and my wife really felt like they valued our time and concerns and made it a great buying experience.

I bought a truck from them that broke down and had to be towed 24 hours after buying it. I called and they told me to have it towed wherever I wanted and they would cover it. They held up there end and paid the bill after it was repaired. Over the next few weeks the truck had some more issues and had to be towed again. Everyone Ideal paid for the shop bill. After about the 4th issue I talked with Nick and we agreed to trade the truck back in on something else. They pretty much gave me my money back on the truck towards another one. I’ve not had any issues from my current truck and couldn’t be happier. They went above and beyond what they had to do and worked with me when they didn’t have to.
