It took weeks to get an appointment and then 6 more weeks to get proper communication between the Hanger Clinic, my surgeon and insurance. I still owed money and was not told until after 3 appointments for which I had to miss work. Now I have only come to discover my boot does not even fit post surgery. I now need another appointment and driver as I cannot drive post surgery. You can only pick up equipment if a "clinician" is in office which is rare and no family or friend can pick it up for you.

Was new to the area and a gentleman from my work referred them. I went and first visit was pretty good. Started getting fitted and all that good stuff and was told they were billing insurance and would let me know if I owed anything. Couple weeks go by they tell me to not worry about insurance and we proceeded to build leg. Leg was built and was sent to Florida for leather work. During this time I had another appointment scheduled. I show up to appointment to find out it was never entered into computer so I was forced to sit and wait and be worked in. Finally get to the back to find out they have not received the prosthetic back from Florida yet. Found it strange they let me wait to tell me this but let it go cause stuff happens and I get that. So I make another appointment for two weeks out. I show up to appointment and doors are locked, I call them and was sent to an answering service and was told they should be open. Waited 15-20 minutes and still no answer. Couple days go by and my mom was diagnosed with cancer so I had to pack up and move back to Oklahoma to help take care of her. This was communicated with them and I was told they would call when prosthetic returned and I could come pick it up or they would ship to me. Couple weeks go by and I can’t get ahold of them to save my life. So I go to Oklahoma to handle my responsibilities when the hinges on my old prosthetic snapped leaving me with a broken prosthetic, I call them to find out status and to let them know I need to get prosthetic asap since I work a full time manual labor job and needed this to be able to provide for my family. Upon calling a lady answers and was immediately defensive when asked what’s going on. She begins to tell me she was new and only been there a day or two. I proceed to ask questions to be told she had no idea she didn’t work there at that time. Then asked her if she could look in computer or something and give me an update. She stated that I should just make an appointment and come in. I explained my situation and received nothing but attitude. She then tells me the prosthetic is done but I could not receive due to me leaving my job and insurance being terminated. I then proceeded to let her know I was told in first visit they were getting approval to build and then would proceed. She flat out told me I was a liar. I simply said ma’am is there anyone else I could talk to since she was new and I didn’t feel like my well being or livelihood was being taking into consideration. She said she was the only person I could talk to and that everyone else would tell me the same. Long story short I still have a broken prosthetic that I have to wear to work daily creating hot spots all over. They are holding my prosthetic hostage and she will not let me speak to anyone else when I call. Whatever you do, DO NOT use this place. They are a complete joke and truly care nothing about their patients. From 5-1-22/ 9-21-22 they have went through 2-3 front desk receptionist that are just flat out rude and know nothing and refuse to let you talk to anyone else. I told them to keep the prosthetic and that I will we find another place to have one built. I’m 34 years old and have been wearing a prosthetic since I was 9, and never have I had this kind of issue and just blatant disregard for their patients/customers. I will never do business with another Hanger establishment. As of today I was told by the receptionist that I don’t know what I’m talking about. The receptionist there as of this moment is probably the worse receptionist I have EVER dealt with.

this is the most unprofessional company I ever went to.for a shoes sole imprint and the ONE sole it was 300. Our Insurance paid the 300.00. since then I got a bill for 600 dollars,called the office and they said don't worry you don't own anythingNow I get a bill from Collection company for 420.00$ ????for the same service. I don't recommend them to anyone too many headaches!!!!

So the front desk person was late, meaning my appointment was late, meaning I was late to work.Additionally the soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work which tells me they must not wash their hand very often here. Gross!!!

my son was due to come in and pick up inserts and we got there and was told that they had not got there, i did not receive a phone call/ any update what so ever to let me know they were not there. this was so unprofessional and we had to make plans to get off work early to get to the appointment which we also received a confirmation text for 2 days before.

I am a diabetic, I have problems with my feet, recently lost part of two toes. my Dr. sent me to Hanger Clinic, They scanned my feet & ordered my shoes , They fit perfectly, and feel excellent . They were very good people to deal with.

Staff was very knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly to me. Always professional and courteous. Very little wait time in the waiting room. The times I was there I waited less than 3 minutes. I highly recommend Hanger Clinic

I go to the Hanger Clinic in Maryville, TN. Tina and Billy Grass have taken Great care of me. I do not have to wait long to see Billy and he explains what should work best for me with my shoes and inserts.

I have been disappointed with the brace that was made for me. Each time I return to get help with problem area, the clinicians appear angry with me. I have not had my questions answered nor my problem fixed.

I was told very quickly what my problem was which i had a problem with anyone before letting me know. They handled my problem very quickly and i am very happy to say this. This should have been taken care of much sooner. So thanks to hanger they done a super job.

My husband has been dealing with Hanger for several years. Most of the folks that work there are professionals, except for 1 woman that processes the paper work. This woman is the most hateful unprofessional person we have ever dealt with. She is rude, hateful, and she all but called my husband a liar today. When the time rolls around for him to order shoes, it's always an unpleasant and dreaded experience. She should never be permitted to interact with patients.
