I just met someone at this church to purchase a vehicle but the individuals that met me are churchgoers here. I have never felt so appalled, disrespected and treated like I was some sort of criminal. The woman was literally yelling at me in the parking lot telling to leave and just go when I was only explaining that I drove 45 minutes to buy this car. I honestly can’t believe someone that goes to this church would treat someone like that.

I just read about this church housing the homeless at night when the temperature is expected to fall below freezing. I just wanted to acknowledge this kindness. Every time you show others love you are showing them God! I see you First Baptist Church and so does God!

Huge church on 321 across from the Blount County courthouse. I'm not a member but know that they allow extracurricular activities that helps the community. Allow the homeless a place to sleep. Caregiver support group meets there regularly. I'm sure there are others. Lately, they let the Smoky Mountain Pickleball Club to play in their gym. Another charitable move since our club needs more places to play. Thank you, First Baptist of Maryville.
