I had to put my dog ? of 17 years down today and my appointment was for 11 am and didn't get seen until 11:40 while watching 2 people just pull in and walk in straight away (thought you had to text to get seen) finally got a room and their bed side manners were awful. Dr Harris was okay but the nurse that was with her was horrible. More worried about paperwork than my little baby chihuahua. SAD been going there for 25 years, never again

I just don't understand how anyone could find enough fault in this group of professionals to complain. I've been using them for 8 yrs. My little dog has seizures and they are always right there. They know I don't have alot of money and they always work to find a cheaper solutions for me. Whether is doing multiple procedure at one time or postponing certain procedures until I have have it done. They always give me great advice and always are there when I need them. I love them all. Dr. White helped save my little Chewy. Diagnosed and treated his heart murmur. Love her!! All the staff have been kind and helpful to all three of my fur babies.

If you need a really good vet, look no further. Have been going here for a few months, the girls go in there like they can't wait for the TLC. Today one really needed them, they delivered big time.

Dr. Steely is our all time favorite vet. He is so caring and went above and beyond to resolve our dogs seizure issues.
When we lost our dogs on MLK day we got the sweetest card with the paws and nose of them both. Such kindness that we appreciated so much!!

Chilhowee Veterinary has been my choice for my animals for the past 20 years.
I can count on this group of Healthcare professionals if there is an emergency or for general care of my fur babies. My dog is a drama queen and is rather high maintenance. They take it all in stride and do what needs to be done.

We have been going to this office since 2011. Always a good experience! I’m truly grateful for the doctors and caring staff. Our families lab had to have a life saving surgery so Dr Archer performed the surgery after hours instead of making him wait until the next work day which ultimately saved his life. He lived a long happy 14 years and now we take our new dogs there as well.

I feel like this place wants to eke out every cent that they can when you take your animal here. Used them for probably 30+ years and the staff has seen a lot of turnover in that time. I felt like I went to a 15 minute oil change place that added on every extra they could think of. Male cat has urinary crystals that we have been purchasing prescription food for the last 4 years from this clinic on their recommendation that this expensive food would correct the issue. The first time it happened we took the cat to an emergency clinic on a Sunday night and they kept him for 3 days. Today he spent 8 hours at Chilhowee and it was the same price. They ran every test they could think of after scaring my wife into agreeing to them (she asked multiple times for an estimate of how much this would cost and wasn’t provided anything not even a ballpark until after they racked up $900 in charges). If you want to be preyed upon your fears and have your wallet emptied this is the place. They have lost a customer and I plan to share my experience with anyone who asks about a vet in Blount county
