First time in there to check it out, see how it was, and they refused to sell medical supplies for my husband who is dying of cancer. Guess we won't be switching pharmacies. Going to keep giving our money to the big guys.

They made things super easy when I had to move prescriptions when Kroger stopped taking my insurance. They were very friendly and explained everything to me.

Blount Discount Pharmacy treats you like family. I trust them because they are personable and always checking to make sure you medications are safe for you. My family has used them for years through many tough medical issues and they have always been there for us. Number 1 to me!

I used to like them but I didn't know I couldn't get 2 narcotic rxs filler within the same day,but the pharmacist did and filled them then had a warrant filed for me instead of telling me hey you can't do this! I had no Idea! And they should also hold the pharmacist accountable ,he knowingly knew I could not get those and did it anyway is Very DECEPTIVE! FOLKS DO NOT COME HERE!

I will start saying that I personally have 18+ yrs of pharmacy experience. Blount Discount is a complete disaster! They need to desperately train ALL staff members! I elected to stay with an "independent" pharmacy mainly because they are quicker and much more efficient. I haven't seen either in the last 8+ months. I hesitate to change but am beyond my patience at this point. I have been. Keeping records after the 1st couple of "mishaps", and those happen as well as mistakes. Difference is ... a business needs to OWN their mistakes/mishaps! So to summarize: in the past 8 months I have always called 2-3 days ahead for any refills, I have always given more than ample time to fill new rx's phoned/faxed/emailed in as I know how hectic things can get. So, every si for month on "maintenance med refills", the items have not been ready (only partially at times) OR they were not all placed together. So upon pickup, the assumption is that they are all there as called in. Well, never assume, because every single month I've had to make additional trips to gather what was misplaced / left out. At times, even had to wait a day due to their hours. I've had the past 6 times a Dr has sent in new Rx's, only to be told they don't have it from Dr (call Dr, they say they sent and show received by pharmacy), Dr has to redo again. Go back to pharmacy, items are separated , return trip! Today, I waited almost 2hrs after leaving Dr, showed up to get Rx's, they claimed hadn't received orders, called Dr back, again they resent. I circle the building for drive-thru (I'm dealing with 2 rib fractures among other things now), and in total, I made 5 "circle trips" over a 1 hr time span (waiting in parking lot etc being patient), they are still not ready! These are very basic, in a box type meds... super simple to fill! So I go home, wait 2hrs (20 mins before they close), I return and yay, they're ready! BUT after I pulled out, I decided to look in the bag.... Of course , 1 was left out! I make a call back to pharmacy, and I get to turn around and drive back for the other! Gas isn't cheap and time is valuable.... Add feeling bad to that mix... Simply uncalled for and unacceptable! I'll never recommend anyone use this location ever again. Mainly because that independent, we care about you feeling...: doesn't exist here any longer! Step it Blount Discount, restart, retrain, or close this location! I've witnessed many others having same type problems. You're a disgrace to the field!

Overall very professional staff. But their drive-through is a total train wreck most of the time. I've been a customer for about 10 years. They unfortunately allow drive-through customers to wait in the car While the staff takes care of issues like filling a prescription even if it takes 5 to 10 minutes literally. it essentially means what that means

Love that they do compounding. When we got our COVID vaccines, they swapped out the standard-issue needles for smaller gauge ones. What a difference - thank you!

I have been a customer at Blount Discount Pharmacy since 1974.I’ve been dealing with neck and shoulder nerve pain since 2017. U T pain clinic sent me to the Harris Clinic, 2020. I’m sharing this information because I believe my treatment these last few days is because I am having to be treated for nerve pain issues!I guess Blount Discount Pharmacy doesn’t care about their long time customers anymore. I realize the pharmacist has his reasoning for not filling my prescription. But, he was so condensing in the way he talked to me on the phone and when I was there in person. None of the pharmacist talked to me about this prescription. Why could they not have worked with me instead of getting hateful and condescending?So sad. I feel like I’m leaving part of my family. This is a sad world we live in today.

Poor customer service. They do not care about your concerns or care to make things right. They make it a big ordeal to know the name of the prescription before you pay for it. The bag is sealed & labeled with the Rx number before you arrive. They talk down to you & misquote HIPAA. It’s my prescription & I have a right to know what I’m buying! They don’t ask if you need to speak to the pharmacist regarding your med your buying even if it’s a new prescription. They do not care if your treated with respect.
