Called about relinquishing/ surrendering a pet they asked me why and I explained the situation and the person on the phone said “you’re gonna have to figured it out, hire a dog sitter or call someone to help you out.”Completely unprofessional and rude.

i cannot say enough good things about this organization and the experiences i have had with them. i adopted two cats from them ten years ago, and i was so pleased with the whole process that i went back to them again last fall when i was looking to adopt again. all of the people i dealt with there are committed to the well being of these animals, and go out of their way and commit lots of time to finding them loving homes. while they must do their due diligence with potential adopters to make sure the animals are taken care of, they work with you to make the experience is as smooth as possible. i recommend you stop by and see these folks when you are looking to adopt.i would like to give a special nod to kornelia, who worked with me during the adoption process, and is never bothered when i send yet another picture of my little fur buddies. thank you all again.

We adopted two kittens from here last year. They were very accommodating in letting us meet the kittens and thoroughly vetted us prior to adoption. Kornelia was great to work with and has continued to follow up on how the girls are getting along. They even helped find a home for a stray that was found by a friend. They truly have the animals best interest at heart. So glad we have a no kill shelter like this one in Blount County!

They never answer the phone. They are not open during scheduled times.

I stopped in to check them out and ask about the charity. I did not see anything that I needed but found out when I could donate.Lady was nice so I pulled out some cash and opened her donations jar and plopped it in. She seemed very happy and slightly shocked that I would pull out more than just pocket change. I was glad to donate to a worthy cause.I will be donating items in the future. Love the fur babies.

Great thrift store. All proceeds from sales are kept local for Animal shelter.

This thrift store has really went down over the years. This used to be a great store. I guess they aren't getting good donations anymore. New manager seems very nice. I hope they can get the store turned around.

No answer to multiple phone attempts, listed as open so drove to facility, doors are locked lights off and definitely not open

“Dedicated to helping all God’s creatures”… that turned out to be a lie. If you come here trying to rescue a smaller baby animal other than a cat or a dog you’re out of luck.

Lady volunteering is so rude. I understand you are donating your time but with that attitude this store is better off without you. 2 bad experiences in the last month, will no longer shop here, or try to donate
