I went here with my guide dog to take my kid to the bathroom, grab him some snacks, and get gas for my moms car on our way home. We were demanded to provide a license to prove my dog was a service dog, which goes against the Americans With Disabilities Act, which is federal law. I tried to explain the law, and was still told I needed to provide a license, or how was the manager to know my dog did a service? My dog was actively doing his service and had a harness with “Guide Dogs for the Blind” clearly on display. We encouraged the manager to educate themself on the law, and they continued to argue with me and tell me to show a license.My dog was doing nothing but his job, and we were on our way out.The ADA states that a business can ask (1) Is that a service dog? (2) Does the dog perform a task to mitigate your disability?Even Tennessee law, which would be irrelevant because federal law overrules state law, states that a business is not allowed to ask for documentation.Bad experience that I know probably doesn’t mean much to non-disabled people, but does matter. I hope other service dog teams have a better experience than we did.

The manager of this establishment harassed my blind sister when she came in with her guide dog. He demanded to see a license to show he was a legitimate service animal, which is against ADA laws. After my sister tried to educate him about ADA laws, he continued to harass her about coming into the establishment with her service animal. He was very rude and refused to listen to her. Educate your people on ADA laws. I expect something to be done about the manager, he doesn't need to be there if he's going to harass disabled people.

If this is for the 2 Go Market with BP gas, there are really clean bathrooms. I'm traveling and was happy to find a nice clean bathroom. The inside of the gas station is also very nice, clean and newer. Friendly cashier.
