contacted my employer - a college and wanted to donate a grand piano for music students. piano belonged to deceased husband. I became suspicious when there was no contact other than email and a link. The stories here proved my suspicion to be correct and saved my employer from any further efforts or damages.

SCAM. My story matches the previous two reviews. It was sent to my email address where I recently worked as a high school choral accompanist. The original email read: Hello,My name is Emma. I'm a widow whose husband had a passion for music but never went pro. I'm looking to give away my late husband's baby grand piano to a loving home, music school or church. No one near me has a room for the piano at this time. Let me know if you would like to have the piano or know anyone who would appreciate the instrument.I look forward to hearing from you.Later emails revealed that "Emma" was moving from Little Rock, Arkansas to Kansas and that the piano's beneficiary would pay the moving costs. "Emma's" emailed responses were sent in the middle of the night and the moving company (FastLane) followed up immediately. I was given detailed information about the piano on request, along with photos.I'm grateful to the previous reviewers who answered my "too good to be true" suspicions. I knew not to send money before delivery on an unseen instrument offered by an unknown person, but the reviews confirmed it.

Joseph L. is telling the truth- I got the same e-mail from AUGUSTA JOP trying to donate a nice 3 year old piano for the cost of the move. The story was her husband passed away and she just wants it to go to a good home. I guess they're not very creative with coming up with different names for this scam. BEWARE - I'm so glad I saw this post from Joseph to confirm my suspicions.
