Very very happy. He is very honest! Fixes are not expensive either. I'll take the 45 minute drive here rather than somewhere closer. Cause I know it's a good busniness. Very knowledgable too.

All of my questions were answered. I was able to make an informed buying decision. The vacuum I was looking at was shown to me with full information and explanations. I believe this business has been around many years and it’s evident why!

I brought my very old SEBO vacuum cleaner in to Mid-State Vacuum for repair. It had never been serviced. I love that old vacuum cleaner and know it is a "well oiled machine" that should last forever. Still, I was afraid I would be told it was in a hopeless state and that I would have to buy a new vacuum etc. I paid a fee up front to have it serviced. It was a very reasonable price. Received a call a few days later with a diagnosis and the cost for repair, which I also thought was reasonable. It was repaired in probably a week? Well, when I brought that vacuum home it was like a new SEBO vacuum cleaner! I had forgotten what an excellent vacuum cleaner it was! I probably should have had it serviced many years ago. Thank you Mid-State Vacuum for your service.

I've been at this vacuum repair shop before many years ago. While the owner is nice I will not be going back. Very pricey and the owner did not call me to let me know he was adding a new part. When I picked up the vacuum it was even more expensive than quoted. Also, I got home, took the vacuum out of my vehicle and the handle immediately breaks off. That was not even the issue. And, for some reason my vacuum is now noisier. I don't know what he did but I took in a vacuum that had an odor issue. What I got back was a huge bill a vacuum that breaks before I even get in my house. and is now noisier. I won't take it back because I do not want to pay such high rates. Sad.

Called to inquire about services; after speaking with gentleman made the drive to seek his advice on a broken Dyson Upright charger plug. Super friendly upon arrival and had a alternative fix in 5 minutes. I lived the side parking access and ease to exit around back to catch traffic light on a super busy 4 lane road. Great customer service and offers a variety of vacuuming/shampooing products. Personalized service…which is fleeting. Highly recommend

The owner is very friendly and honest. I had my Dyson for 10 years and unfortunately it couldn't be saved but I appreciate it only cost $20 to have it checked out and tested to see if a repair was possible. I highly recommend Mid-State Vacuum for repairs or vacuum purchases. The store feels like it's been a Nashville staple for decades. I love supporting small businesses that have been around for a long time.

Always call before you go to make sure it's open, even during the posted business hours. We learned the hard way that it sometimes alters its hours without warning, because it's a very small business. We came three times to a "closed" sign when the shop should have been open. Otherwise, we received good, fair service.
