I ordered a book from Germany over a month ago through the telephone with this service. It was an out of print book that was still being sold through an online German website. The lady on the phone (Natasha) asked for my debit card and my email and told me everything was fine and that they were going to send me a confirmation email. Over a month later, I (thankfully) have no charge placed on my bank account and still have received no confirmation email. So, I called them again today, and another lady there (Barbara) told me in so many words that they don't order out of print books, Natasha would have told me that, and that I was lying and never placed that order. Talk about customer service. It's over one month later, and I still have no book. BUT HERE'S THE KEY TO THIS WHOLE COMPANY: They told me, "If you can't buy the book and have it shipped to you, WE CAN'T EITHER!" They exist for absolutely no purpose if anybody can just directly buy the book they want to without them.

I ordered a textbook from IBIS, which was out of stock at the time. They immediately e-mailed me, knew which class I was taking, and coordinated with the school to ensure the books arrived as soon as possible. In addition, they offered to ship the books for the entire class direct to the school, refund our individual shipping costs and offer a discount. I was very impressed by the level of service and would highly recommend this retailer.
