This is a pasture board and self-care barn with some help if you have a horse inside due to illness or injury. Pasture has great forage and Austin also puts out horse-friendly round bales in winter and feeds a good-quality pelleted feed once daily to the 50-acre pasture horses. He’s very knowledgeable about pasture care and practices weed control. My horse is a very happy retired for one year show horse out on fifty acres and well-integrated with her herd. The ring and trails are great, with good footing and jumps. The horses shelter just fine in the woods and have lots of pasture, too. The creeks are great, too! They are spring-fed, run well with no stagnation, clear, and cold. My horse’s feet have never been in better condition and she’s 27. Since she requires daily meds and supplemental feeding, I trade off days with another boarder and we both rely on Matilda to pick up the days neither of us can be there. I have boarded here in the past and Austin is responsive and a hard worker. LovinGood is a great place to be with positive, friendly boarders who take great care of their own horses, which is how the barn is set up and run.

No shelter, the horses are not fed proper grain or hay. My horse was not being fed or taken care of. Stay away

I had two of my horses here. Matilda was fantastic. I was new to riding, she spent hours working with me and my horses. We ended up moving our horses due to the drive out to the farm, but my 8 yr old still ask us to go see Matilda. Great place and even better people!! We will most likely be back soon.

I have been talking to Matilda (Barn employee) for over a week about purchasing a horse for my daughters and even set up a day to come and purchase the horse. The day I was suppose to go pick the horse up I reached out to her and she said the horse was already sold. My little girls had their hopes up and are now upset. I talked with the barn manager (Austin Jinkins) his response was "I will talk to her about that". "Sorry". This is bad business!

So much fun on our sunset trail ride last night. Not a lot of trail rides that let you get a gallop in while learning the history of the farm and the area around it. Kathy (the owner) and Kylie were very knowledgeable and get company of the trails.

If you love your horse, don't take them here. I know too many people who have tried and left for the sake of their horse
