With the exception of 1 particular mechanic breaking two of my lug nuts then looking up and saying, "those were already cracked." (Which I HIGHLY DOUBT since they were brand new), me buying a new tire and him, putting a used tire on it. He put the money directly into his pocket. I find out that it is used when I pull out... the belt is broken, it wasn't balanced, and the tire was so worn down. I ask to speak to the owner but the same mechanic said that he wouldn't be there that week. That being said, I have ALWAYS had great dealings with the owner and the rest of the staff. 1 mechanic went above and beyond in helping me fix the problem.

There's a right way and a thousand wrong ways to change a crankshaft seal. This shops mechanic broke the golden rule of shaft seal replacement and pried against the crankshaft seal journal, not once, but twice. Because the first time they did it, they put in a seal that was too large and did not seal on the crank (WAY too big...should have seen it was wrong right away) They gave the car back with out test driving, so there was no leak evidence when we picked it up. After taking it back to fix they then pried that seal out incorrectly, gouged the crank (and seal housing) some more and installed another seal, which failed because the burrs from all the gouges wrecked the new seal in about a hundred miles.
Now I have a crankshaft that might never seal. And that means, at minimum, a new crankshaft and rebuild of the lower end, or a short block. Either way I am reluctant to let them touch it.
They are nice folks and prices are reasonable, but I would not recommend Triple B for more than basic maintenance items like belts, hoses etc. You've been warned....
