This may be the last year I use H&R block (I've been a loyal client for 14 years)! I did a drop-off last Wednesday. The lady that took it, wrote my date of birth and SSN on the white envelope and put it on a pile. Told me to give them a couple days. That's okay. Then, I recieved a call the following day asking for my ID information, and made an appointment for Saturday to finish up. When I went in Saturday, the lady I was working with asked for my W2 - I already dropped it off. So, whomever put my information in the computer Wednesday/Thursday missplaced my W2! I signed and paid. She assured me that she would find it and send everything in. Today is Wednesday, 4.12.2023, I still don't have a notification from H&R confirming the IRS has my stuff. I plan on calling this H&R office later, but I am thoroughly disgruntled with the carelessness this time around.
