After a few weeks on a mission to find the best car for my gal, several lots several test drives, we arrived at Dependable Motors near closing time on a Saturday ... the week's end.We were met with a friendly and optimistic gentleman, Mike. Mike was very attentive and responsive to help locate our needs in a vehicle on the lot. We, knowing they were soon to close, didn't want to be rude and expect to test drive at this time, we were planning to come back. Mike insisted and brought the keys right out to us. We drove a couple vehicles and were really impressed with the low mileage, great condition and good and reasonable prices of the cars.When we returned each test driven vehicle, Mike had already prepared a car fax for us on each of these, assuring us he is confident in his inventory.. He stands behind his product. That took a load off to know because we really hadn't heard other reps say this.. Several used lots.. several reconstructed vehicles.. and unreasonable prices with truly not much help or information about inventory... but MikeWe left the lot to let them close and on the way out my gal said "Mom we don't need to look anymore. That's my car and that guy Mike was really great. I want to give him our business." I agreed! with excitement and a sigh of relief that the shopping was over .. The car is great.. the service is great.. the price is great... the whole thing just was just a divine appointment..We contacted Mike the following Monday at opening sharp to let him know we were anxious to come buy the car.. and that's not where the great service experience ends..We got to meet yet another friendly, optimistic and very helpful representative to finalize sale. Joe helped us tremendously in preparing all documents and providing important info .. the not so fun stuff.. He made it a painless breeze and even helped us get all the insurance prep to leave the lot insured... This was going the extra mile and I am so grateful.They really shine in our book!At Dependable Motors they seem to walk a few steps above their competitors in all areas. Highly recommend!Two weeks now..My gal loves her car.. and I so do too!!THANK YOU MIKE AND JOE.. for being so awesome to us!

I had been eyeballing the Cadillac they had out front for a week or two. I finally decided to stop and test it out and get more info on it and left Joe a little information so he could get the process started and by after lunch the next day I was trading keys and driving her home. Very friendly staff and easy to get the paper work done and gone. #CadillacOwner ?

Hello fellow shoppers. Take a look above, and you'll see something I almost never, ever do...a five star rating. If you're curious as to why, then by all means, read on. WARNING! My reviews can be a bit long.We are a little over twenty miles from this lot and went there on the recommendation of a family member. It was a drizzly day. As soon as we got out of our car, someone came out to meet us. I'm really bad with names, but he was a younger man. We must have spent almost an hour wandering the lot, and he was with us every step of the way but not intrusive. Every question we had, be it price or whatnot he was able to answer on the spot. He gladly went back and forth to the office for keys. We finally settled on a vehicle, for which he said he could come down some on the price. They did.I don't know if they do their own financing, but we had planned on going to a nearby finance company where we already had an account, so we didn't look into it. Even though the car was sold "as is," we were told that if something goes wrong within thirty days, they would fix it.About two weeks after having the car, the check engine light came on. We took it to a local shop where it was determined that a high-pressure fuel pump was bad. The repair cost was over six hundred dollars. Oh well, I thought, that happens with used cars. Almost to the good part, folks.Our license plate came in a couple of days ago, and we went to get it. My wife jokingly said to the salesman we should charge them for half the repair bill for the pump. Neither of us expected anything to come of it. However, as we were about to drive away, the owner came hurrying out to stop us. He asked if we had the repair bill, which, of course, we did not, but told him the price. He told the other fellow to cut a check for three hundred and ten dollars with no more questions asked.The people at Dependable Motors are good, honest, folks with satisfaction of the customer being their first priority. We just might go back for a replacement for my '02 S10, I'm kinda attached to it, though.If you want a good used vehicle and peace of mind, Dependable Mortors is the only place you need to go.

Do not take your car in here to get it worked on, period. They are the most dishonest, non dependable shop I have ever seen. The manager here has attitude. Took my son's car in and fixed the front CV axles, four new tires and alignment, only to get the vehicle back several days later with issues. When we got the car back we drove it down the road, which is what the shop should have done in the first place, only to find sensor lights on and the all wheel drive not working. Took it back to them told them of the issue and tried blaming my son that he must have done something to it. Got it on the lift and the right front, where they took the transaxle off, the wire had been cut. Tried telling us that someone must have cut it. No one could go under the car and cut this wire, for real? I then told this cocky manager that your mechanic had to move this wire to get the axle off, if it had been cut then why wasn't we notified and why all of a sudden does the all wheel drive not work? I'm not stupid.. He knew I was right. They soldered the wire back together but the light is still on about the sensor that is out due to them being negligent. That's ok, we will buy another $80 sensor and put it in ourselves. We don't want them touching our vehicle. Again, do not bring your vehicle here. Terrible.

Dependable Motors put my daughter in a great newer vehicle with no money down and a great loan with low interest!! She is the 3rd generation buying from Mike at Dependable Motors!! My Dad used them years ago, then I used them 20 years ago when my daughter was a baby, now she just purchased her 1st car with them!! Thank you Dependable Motors for taking care of my girl!!!

I recently purchased an '06 Mazda Miata at Dependable Motors 803 Broadway, Lenoir City, TN. There were two issues I pointed out to the owner Mike and his assistant Joe. No hesitation on their part getting both problems remedied. My co$t - $0! GREAT customer service!
