Please stay away from Zips Food Mart gas station on 1519 West Main Street. Last night I stopped to get gas. I pulled up to pump 5 and went inside to prepay for 50.00 on pump 5. So I put the gas nozzle into my tank on auto fill. I noticed the numbers on the gas meter going real slow then it would go real fast. I felt the gas nozzle and notice no gas was coming out and I went into the store and notified the manager. The manager said sir move to pump 1 because pump 5 is frozen. I moved to pump 1 then the manager came out and said I canceled the 50.00 you prepaid but I charged you 9.31 from pump 5. I said how can you charge me for gas when no gas came out of the pump? He said the meter works. I said yes but no gas is being pumped out because you said the pump is frozen. Then the manager said let's go in the store and call his boss. I must say a waste of time. I told the manager I will be filing a complaint against them and got my receipt showing Zips charged me for gas I didn't get. Smh that store is robbing ppl through malfunctioning gas pumps. I AM HIGHLY PISSED!!!
