At our local store ( 19734 ) this morning. Neither of the two employees were even here until 8:20. Then it took an additional 20 minutes to even open the registers. There were at least 6 other customers that left before opening. I asked if they didn’t open at 8am like advertised, and they said they did. Yet no one was even here.Finally once in the store and allowed to check out the registers pin pad wasn’t working. After 45 minutes I was finally able to check out. I purchased a gift card and there was no gift card receipt. I asked how I can confirm they money is actually on the gift card. I was told, ‘If it’s not you’ll just have to call corporate’. The workers weren’t even apologetic. It was just a terrible experience.

Ok was broke down here for 2 days and we talked to them they were ok with us being there we was parked way out of the way. Didn't bother no one didn't go in all time but did spend well over 200 in food there. And they had my number.they called the cop and a tow truck on us instead of coming and talking to us we live in our van and had our 11 year old with us. I love dollar store but that was a low blow

Its convenient, most of the time pretty Clean, But they dont keep up with rotating Stock very well. I have bought food that was out of Date. So watch your dates on Breads and Cookies and such. Otherwise Glad we have one so close by.

This Dollar General is absolutley horrible. If the employees aren't talking on their phones, they are smoking right in front of the door, and one day I had to wait several minutes because both employees were taking a smoke break at the same time, and they didnt seem to care that I was waiting to check out.
