My husband and I were on a road trip and got a flat tire half way. We got off this exit and pulled into a gas station to get triple A. Then we realized we could get it patched. Having no idea how long this would take God lead us to this business. They were a BLESSING!!!! we were back on the road in 20 minutes!!!!!!!! They didn’t try to sell us anything. They just wanted to help get us back on our way. AND they have fresh popcorn 15/10!!! highly recommend!!!!!

Today is my 3rd Saturday in a row that I have attempted to receive service from the Lakeland, Hwy 64 Gateway Tires. Today, I arrived at this location a little after 09:00 hours and was advised that my vehicle could not be serviced for an oil change due to them closing at 14:00 hours. I spoke with the manager on duty and he provided the General Manager, Barbara Lot's phone number (6627121271). After leaving General Manager Barbara Lott a voicemail, she did in fact return my phone call. After explaining my issue to her, visiting the stores on 3 different occasions way before close of business but being refused service. She became very defensive and rude in stating there are other customers who leave their vehicle to be serviced the day before. I made her aware of myself and many other customers not knowing that was an option, it's not advertised to receive service you must leave your vehicle overnight, but I explained to her how ridiculous it was to refuse customers 5 hours before close of business. General Manager Barbara lot advised she's been with the company 34 years, she answers the complaints if I decided to make one and I could lastly take my business else where. At no time did Barbara apologize, show empathy or even interest in the issue at hand. Although many businesses across The U.S. are short staff this is still unacceptable. Lastly, I hate that Barbara Lott being a General Manager and with the company 34 long years feels that she is above customers and their concerns. Most would be grateful to be employed as long as 34 years, but unfortunately Barbara Lott feels that she is irreplaceable and can treat customers any kind of way. How unprofessional, Barbara Lott. I do believe the standards are higher than this and this is not the way the owners of Gateway would like for their management team to conduct business. I hope someone can fix this issue. Best regards.

Do not go to this store !! The service stinks and their knowledge and customer service is really poor to just awful! I took a small front tire off my lawn mower and new heavy duty tube to be installed... They rip my heavy tube trying to install it... 2 days after I dropped it off and numerous phone calls i was told it was ready for p/u. NOT!! got there and the rim / tire apart and on the floor in shop... I left and the next day I call ... I got to store wheel /tire was on counter it was " flat" same guy had pinched this tube again! I had brought the second heavy tube I took it to them and they finally got it together and then charged me $16.75 to get my tire back! See my next rating this was on my new Ranger p/u that had a nail in middle of the tire I dropped off for a cold patch inside Truck has 5100 miles

Went to get my oil changed and had them look at the front end of my truck. Apparently I was about to die with the condition. They repaired this in a timely manner and were extremely friendly and helpful!! Everyone at the front desk was awesome and the crew in the garage were great with the fox and explaining what was going on.Don’t go anywhere else, if you don’t have to…

So far, so good here. They're always busy but make time to answer any and all questions in a timely manner. Also, quotes for work needed seem to be honest and completed in an accurate time frame of what they gave. Definitely will continue to get my business.

This workers here at integrity. I've been here twice for services with my car and they helped to get them resolved at no cost to me. The issues were minor but they saved me tons of money because I went to "Pep Boys" and they tried to rip me off. I didn't have a good feeling about them so I took my car to Gateway Tire. Gateway tire on US 64 has a customer for life when it comes to me.

Needed tires rotated on my old classic, gentlemen told me it would be 3 hrs first come first serve, I asked if i could get on a list and come back in a couple hours, he said absolutely not. I Left went to Firestone down the street, they were very friendly and got me in and out in 30 mins with no issues! Rotating tires is very simple fast service, (just not a big money maker!)

I wanted a brand new tire put on a rim because I've been riding on a spare for a day. As the front desk attendant saw me walking in, he immediately shook his head NO.I've had work done here before and never treated this way. Last time patronizing this company. Not a good way to treat a customer. I feel sorry for him.Discount Tires Bartlett was a perfect alternative.

Twice I had to go there just to have the air pressure fixed in my rental car. The front counter staff and the shop employees were extremely helpful and nice. Definitely 5 stars

I purchased a new tire for my old farm truck. I told the sales staff directly that I needed them to replace the valve stem too. I had 2-inch brass high pressure stems placed on each tire due to the sharp edges of the hub cap -it’s a late 1970’s Ford used on a farm. When I picked up the tire, the staff said the valve stem was good despite me asking to have it replaced. In a rush for time, I took the tire. I then watched the tire slowly deflate after two fill-ups before I carried it back to this location. On the return visit I reminded them the valve stem was the issue and I wanted a 2-inch brass high pressure stem to replace the old one. I left the tire with them. Later my spouse picked up the tire for me. When I returned home to install the tire I found that the staff, yet again, did not do what I asked for the valve stem. They installed 1-inch rubber stem. I wouldn’t be able to check or fill the tire with the hubcap on. When the tire was returned to Gateway for a third time I asked that this be corrected. They only then told me they did not have the 2-inch high pressure brass stems, but that I could go get one, bring it to their shop, and wait in the queue to have this installed. No thanks Gateway Lakeland. I don’t need the extra errands. I know there are more competent tire shops that keep materials appropriate to the ask of the customer.I cannot understand the incompetence of the management, or staff at this location. What should have been an easy quick visit has now turned into multiple errands.I HIGHLY recommend you drive right past this location. Spend the extra money at a well known, reputable tire shop of your choice just down the road. You’ll be much happier.

I recommend for everybody to stay away from Gateway tire. They took advantage of my older auntie. Came to get a routine maintenance, and she keeps her vehicle maintenance up to date. She had plugs change, front and rear brakes changed and oil change. They charged her $2,010.65 to have those items done. Within 2 months she start having trouble with her vehicle. She not Mobile to keep going back and forward. I flew in from out state to check on her and her vehicle. It ended up being a misfire on 3 and 5 cylinder. They want to charge her again to fix the problem. After she had already pay them to do the work already. ALL WOMEN PLEASE stay away from this place and Firestone. So they can't take advantage of you. Sometimes it's best to take it the dealership than dealing with these guys.
