My husband and I used Brad’s for a few years. We stopped using him in 2021 after he didn’t believe me when I tried telling him the clutch he put in my car didn’t feel right—there was a loss of power right after shifting. I noticed this and told him within hours of picking up my car.
My first clutch was driven by me for over 100k miles (7-8 years in school carpool lanes), so I do know how to drive a manual.
That clutch recently went out due to either wrong or non-replaced parts…it was replaced by another mechanic. He found 2 out of 3 transmission mount bolts missing and several transmission bell housing bolts missing. The lone transmission mount bolt was only 1/4” the way in. This was highly dangerous!
We have also had to replace a compressor within a year of Brad doing it and an entire oil pan because he put a gasket on a bent oil pan.
We’ve spent $2,500-3,000 redoing work done by this shop.

I recently had an AC issue with my car, and I was looking for a reliable and trustworthy auto repair shop in town. I've lived in the area for about 10 years and have asked about many of the local places at one time or another. About the time I think I have found a good one I hear a horror story about shady practices or improper repairs or upselling services not needed that cause me to second guess. I have about given up on finding a place I feel good about and not one that you walk away from feeling like you got played in some way or another. I am not saying these horror stories are all true but you have to go with what you read and hear and make a call. At some point in the past I heard positive mention of Brad's Kar Care but I never did try them. Today I decided to give them a go. They got me in right away and took care of my issue quickly and for a fair price. The people were professional and friendly, and they treated every customer that was there while I was with respect and honesty. They also explained my issue in a way that I could understand, and I don't feel like they tried to sell me or the others anything that wasn't needed. I was very impressed by their service and expertise, I felt comfortable doing business with them today. My first impression of Brad's Kar Care was a positive one and one that will bring me back next time I need automotive repair.

I hate writing bad reviews about places that I like but when my car goes in for one thing and comes back completely totalled and no longer running I just can't help myself. Looking under the hood pieces are missing and no longer attaching to the engine. 2 simple jobs and I regret not doing them myself now.

Needed new tailpipes for my truck, Brad's opinion was to just put on new pipes and save me some money since Magna Flow makes quality mufflers. I went under the truck with him and we both agreed that the front pipe was looking a little suspect. When I mentioned maybe we should just do a total replacement he agreed that if it was his truck that's what he would do to save a hassle in the future. All new exhaust with stainless tips. Looks great, sounds great! And Brad is a genuine person in my book.

I have taken my fj cruiser here many times, they are fast and great at what they do. Very reasonable on price and as a woman I am comfortable walking in here without my husband. He has also brought his Tacoma here and same result. We will definitely continue to bring our vehicles to brads. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable.
