Red Barn Winery & Vineyards is a wonderful winery just outside Lafayette, TN. It is a very nice, local winery with a great atmosphere. The owners are generous, friendly, lovely, and gracious people who welcome visitors warmly. The winery offers excellent wines from its own vineyards and some imported varieties, including a wide selection of white, red, blended, and port wines unique to the area. They also offer a hard cider and apple cider that are very popular. Visitors can enjoy a free wine tasting in the tasting room and relax on the patio. The property includes the Checkered Past gift shop. It is a key stop on the Upper Cumberland Wine Route and is considered a not-to-be-missed destination.
