I came in last night to get some snacks. As i walked around to look at the snacks by the door, the two people at the registered said "Sir", i didn't think they were talking to me so i continued to look for some delicious snacks. I then heard them talking to each other saying things like "i wish someone would come in here and steal something" i then realized they were talking to me/about me and they thought i was about to walk out with some chips. They kept going on and on about someone stealing, saying it quite loud and aggressive. - sigh* I just wish I could go into a store and just buy some snacks without being treated like a thief. I was angry last night but this morning I'm just feeling disappointed, wondering if this would've happened to me if i was white. I'm black, btw.
