Awesome service all the way around and a great view to boot! When I arrived Heather greeted me with a genuine "happy to see you smile" and was most helpful getting me the room I requested. Room was pleasantly appointed, very clean and the bed was comfy! A perfect stay in my book! Just off I-40 so it's an easy on/off from the interstate if you are just passing by and need a room overnight. I enjoyed the outside patio area with rocking chairs - it was a good spot to sit back and rewind from a long drive. The snacks/water set out in the room for a weary traveler was a nice touch! I can't say enough good about the staff and hotel in general except that I'll definitely be stopping by again on my next trip!

The two ladies that work here throughout the lady were both super sweet. Breakfast is from 630-930 am and pool hours is 9-9. The tay was overall good and clean but of course any place you stay there are hiccups. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The freezer didn't freeze a thing and I had water in there for 4 days. The microwave turning plate didn't stay in place. There are two shades for the window. One for privacy and other for darkness. Which it actually works, so its not super bright in the morning. Make sure you wear socks or flip-flops because its obvious they don't shampoo the carpets. I will show a picture of my socks that were clean after wearing them on the floor for about an hour. Beds were just ok, not good for people with back issues.I wouldn't use the bar soap because it leaves a slimy slippery residue on your hands. Near the front of the hotel there is a sitting area and I saw people bbqing out there earlier today. If you want to hang out over there, there is a firepit with chairs. You can go and chill by the fire, lol. I was doing some work on my phone, chilling listening to music on a lounge chair alone. It was nice until an employee made it very awkward. He came over trying to talk to me, ask if I could be his friend, if he can add me on facebook and if he can get to know me. I kept looking back to my phone but he didn't get the hint. I told him no to everything. People are there to relax, not to randomly socialize or get creeped on. He wasn't going away so I went back in my room after being in the pool for a couple minutes. Other than that, the stay was nice and quiet. When I checked in I asked if I could be on the bottom floor because I have mobility issues, and they were able to move me to the first floor. I don't think there was an elevator, I didn't notice one, just stairs. We share the pool and parking lot with "Big Bear Extended Stay". If you need to do laundry than it is in the Big Bear by registration. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers. It is $1.75 each. But in reality it sucks up your orders so I actually paid $2.25 for the washer and $2 for dryer. There is also a continental breakfast. I went around 7am and it was all carbs. bread, english muffins, aussie bites, or you can make your own waffle. They also have a machine for juice or coffee

This place is just awesome. Been staying here for years on trips up and down I-40. The rate is very reasonable and the whole property has been updated and remodeled. Proprietor is super nice. Love parking at my room door to unload and the morning free breakfast is decent too. The Chop House is across the street, Bonus!

This location is a pleasant surprise. Very nice room. Facilities clean & bright. Breakfast offered was fresh & tasty.Front desk staff was great. In particular, the gentleman at the front desk appeared to be proud of this location. He was conversational & was very interested in our stay at this location.

The rooms here appear to be recently updated or have been very well taken care of. We were concerned about interstate noise but the sound was very well muffled. An 18 wheeler parked in the parking lot and we did not hear it at all even though it was no more than 50 to 75 feet from the door. Part of that may have been the courtesy of the driver but the rooms are well sound proofed. The hotel is a distance away from the Sevierville / Gatlinburg hustle and bustle which is a major plus for me. Growing up and throughout my wife and my marriage we have visited the area multiple time each year and have no desire to be in the "middle of the action". Quality at Kodak is perfect for this reason. The day and night shift staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, and helpful in every way possible. I have also got to mention the amazing lady that operates the breakfast area. When I went in and sat down for breakfast (Scrambled eggs, Swaggerty's sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy) I felt at home. You remember that Mom that always made you feel like part of the family when you visit? Breakfast was reminiscent of that feeling. Usually when we are up there we try to make it to Sunday breakfast at The Old Mill. Saturdays breakfast was so wonderful that I decided to have a hotel breakfast rather the try to get to Sevierville in time to eat there. Even though the breakfast, other than the sausage, is the same stuff you get at every other Choice hotel, it was so much better here than any other Choice we have gone to. I have to think it is because the breakfast manager cares about everyone that visits her room and pays attention the making sure there is quality served in every plate in that hotel. If I owned or managed a hotel in that area I would do everything in my power to steal her away even if I had to double her salary. I truly wish I could mention her name because she deserves the recognition. To sum it all up, There is almost nothing about this hotel that is not favorable. Stay here on your vacation to find out what breakfast at home is all about.

Had to stay one more night in TN and we found this place. Nice, clean rooms and the price is good too. Close to Bass Pro Shops and the Chop House. Great wifi too!
