We have stayed at this hotel 3 or four times now and as I recall every stay has been just fantastic. This time was no exception. It is not right on top of I-40 so it is quieter than a lot of hotels. We were on the back side from the interstate this time so it was exceptionally quiet. The new pull down blackout shades are a huge upgrade from the old curtain style. Everything was clean, breakfast was good and plentiful.

Nice clean room. Window shade was broken, so we couldn't see outside. Believe the reviews on the breakfast. Probably the worst, or near the worst, I've seen in all my IHG stays. The room is tiny, and they don't have most of the items you'd expect if you're used to Holiday In Express. The bacon was burnt to crumbs...lol...and the pancake machine was broken. Hell, I come to these hotels just for the pancake machine. Disappointing breakfast to say the least. :)

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. I usually have problems with pillows but these were perfect. Breakfast was delicious

Very clean, organized hotel stay. We don't have to wait long for check in. The complementary breakfast was fresh. The rooms were cleaned everyday.

Rooms were well maintained and friendly staff. A pantry staff member informed that the breakfast would close in next 10 minutes. She ensured that everything is there till the last minute. Overall good

We consistently stay at IHG properties as they are usually great and with my husband being military we travel often. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case for this location. My husband stayed here with our two boys after driving through the night. He was extremely tired and didn’t turn any lights on as he walked into the bathroom. As he walked in to the bathroom there was a sticky substance on the floor which looked like body fluids (he sent me photos of this). He then turned the lights on and seen hairs all over the bathroom too(he also sent me these photos). He went and spoke with a man at the front desk. That man told him there was no manager on staff and one would call him back. After 7 days of waiting for a call back my husband called in again asking for a manager. That man then told him I remember you and my manager said that the sticky substance was glue and she would not issue a refund which is why she didn’t call you back. 1. How would anyone know exactly what the substance was without actually testing it. 2. Even if the sticky substance was glue he deserves a call back 3. He never asked for a refund so they were just assuming that’s what he wanted. He was extremely rude during the entire conversation and basically hung up on my husband after telling him that he basically COULD NOT speak to a manager. I then called the same man and tried to get clarification on the situation and explained that it was very rude of the manager to not call back. He told me the same thing and was very unpleasant to me as well. I then told him the matter on the floor looked like body fluids and he said I was making him uncomfortable and hung up on me. We called another hotel where Kim McCann is also the manager and asked for a call back and 14 days after the incident there is yet to be a call. IHG needs to do better about who they hire as all 3 of these people are clearly unprofessional!

Honestly this hotel is ok but the breakfast is the absolute worst processed foods I’ve ever had. Unless you’re eating cereal, yogurt or muffins for breakfast you’ll be highly disappointed. The eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy is just some processed microwaved garbage. It makes no sense to not even serve a medium grade breakfast that’s be cooked in a convection oven or something other than a microwave. My family was sick for days after eating this garbage and we couldn’t even enjoy our vacation. The pool closes too early for me and it looks dead in the pool area. The keys have issues all day long so you have to go back and forth all day trying to get it fixed. But the rooms and bathrooms are nice. Bathroom is very nice and I love the dove products they use. I’m just over this place at this point.

Newly remodeled rooms are nice and clean. They are still in the process of remodeling but did not impact our stay. Our only issue was parking. This is mainly because part of the lot is being used for storage and equipment parking. We liked that it was away from the congestion of PF and Gatlinburg.

The breakfast offered is great, providing a variety of options to suit different tastes and dietary preferences. The staff is friendly and ensures that guests have a positive dining experience to start their day on the right note.Overall, this hotel offers a convenient and peaceful alternative to staying in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Upon checking in the guest service agent Jessica was on her cell phone. I personally don’t care but others might. Service was ok, not overly welcoming but not rude either. Rooms were very clean, great location. very loud in the hallway all hours of the day and night but the loud A/C seemed to drown most of it out. Did the job as a place to rest our head for the night. Highly recommend checking out the chop house! ?

It is fine. The lobby is nicely updated however the rooms are old, dingy and not well cleaned. Ours smelt like old smoke and we found m&ms, Coins, dead bugs and lots of body hair on the floors. If it wasn't for just a night I would have requested a refund.

We have stayed at over 30 IHG hotels (and many others prior to finding the brand) and are platinum members, and this location is by far, the worst hotel experience I have encountered. We booked a couple months prior to ensure we had a room. I utilize the fitness centers and one of the reasons we chose this one was the fact it had a fitness center. When we walked in after a 12 hour drive, we notice it was a total mess with construction. We did the digital check-in on our way up to help expedite the process. After waiting 25 minutes to just check in, we overheard the desk attendant blaming the day shift and people not wanting to work for the problems other guests were having. He couldn't find our reservation and blamed it on their day shift. After going up the elevator, we get to our room and it had not been serviced at all--the bedsheets were thrown everywhere and trash left in the room. We got back down the elevator and realized the elevator buttons were broken and had to press other buttons to get out.We go back downstairs and complain and to try to get another king room, and he said he has a room with 2 queen beds. I also asked about the fitness center, and he said it was closed due to the construction. Part of this trip was to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, so this is almost an insult. He guarantees the room would be clean, and we walk in and it reeks of smoke and body odor. We walked out and asked for a refund or something, and he kept saying that it was a bad day, the elevator just broke today (the buttons appeared to be broken for weeks), and never once apologized for anything. This is such horrible service and conditions in the hospitality industry. Do not stay at the Kodak location!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Kodak a few nights ago for a single night on our drive from Nashville to Baltimore, and it was fine. The room was large and clean. Check in and check out was easy and quick. Breakfast was still served during our stay, but it was to go only due to COVID. I wouldn't mind staying here again if passing through Kodak.

I stayed here 5 nights with a solid rate from Hotels.com. The hotel is tucked behind a giant Bass Pro Shops and you have to make sure to turn into the parking lot for the store to get to the hotel. My stay was just fine. They don't do service until you request it or every 5th day. The bed was comfortable enough and the room was spacious. The walls and floors are thin -- the guy below me was coughing quite a bit (I hope he's okay). The bathroom did not seem clean and there was hair on the floor when I arrived. The shower itself will not drain. So it was standing water every time I showered and was just gross. The front desk staff was hit and miss as far as friendly. The keys lost their magnetism and ability to open the doors three times during my stay. Going to get my keys redone every other day was obnoxious. I will say, the lady who served breakfast is a gem and I'm glad they still offered breakfast with the stay.
