Stayed here for one night thankfully. Felt disgusted in our room after finding a half eaten can of beans in our fridge and a used disposable razor loaded with pubic hairs in the shower. The front desk lady was helpful and I’m ashamed to have been rude to her knowing it was not her fault, but my disgust and disappointment got the better of me at the moment.
Rooms: Disposable razor loaded with pubic hair left in the shower.
Safety: Disposable razor loaded with pubic hair left in the shower.
Noteworthy details: Disposable razor loaded with pubic hair left in the shower.

Staff was very helpful and polite. Parking spots are a bit tight. Our room was clean. The room did smell a bit musty, I'm assuming it was due to the ac running nonstop due to the heat. Breakfast was good. The elevators were very small, and it was a bit of a nightmare getting off the second floor.

Nice place to stay. The lady at breakfast this morning was doing a really good job of welcoming, keeping the food stocked, and keeping everything clean!

Very disappointed with this hotel and all of IHG in general. I booked this hotel for a trip that is 4 weeks away under the guise it stated no deposit and free cancellation. The money was taken anyway. Then upon cancelling I was told I would not be refunded and instead given points. This is not what the policy stated. On top of that the points are not even equivalent to the nights I booked. I will not be booking with these hotels again in the future.

We stayed here on our way to Franklin, TN for a conference. We knew we wanted to visit a few places here, especially Old Tennessee Distillery. It was a welcome stop after a 7 hour drive.
Location - It's in a great location, right beside Bass Pro Shop and down the street from restaurants and the distillery. A grocery store is about 3 miles away, but only felt like it was about a mile away because of the traffic flow. Buccee's gas station is about 1.5 miles away.
Breakfast - It was okay. Everything was fresh, and they kept it restocked.
We stayed here twice - once on the way to Franklin, and then again on the way back.
The Room
First stay - We had a king bed on the second floor. The bed was soft and comfy, so we had a great night's sleep. The shower, I personally loved. It had great water pressure, but also the water seemed extra soft. I put on Lotion after my shower, and it glided on like butter. It was so nice that I immediately ordered a filter for my personal shower.
Second Stay - We were given a room on the fourth floor. The bedding was the same (soft/comfy), which we were grateful for. The water pressure was the same, but the water softness was not. Also, I could smell the water as it ran in the shower. I let it run a bit before I got in. It just smelled like tap water, but it was a bit weird that I could smell it.
Overall, we will stay here again and request a room on the second floor.

A VERY nice unit. I like the H.I. Express chain but this one is exceptional. The rooms and dining area are spotless and the breakfast offering is wide and delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We had two rooms and a very nice stay.
Rooms: Very up to date and spotless.

Well kept, well appointed room. Friendly people at the front desk andthe breakfast area, as well as the maintenance staff. The location is perfect since it's close to so many venues, but it was very quiet, too!
Rooms: Our room was clean and had everything we could need. The TV had access to more channels than we have at home! It was quiet, too, so we got a great night's sleep!
Nearby activities: Not far from great restaurants and shopping as well as convenient to visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinbug without being in the congested part of the area.

Great hotel. Very busy location but clean, quiet and comfortable. Definitely one of the finer Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed at and will keep it on my list of stops when in the Knoxville area.

The location was a convenient stop off the interstate on our trip. Check in was quick and the lady was very nice. Our room was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft.

This location seems to be more interested in guests coming and going, which is fine. If you're looking for quality service, look elsewhere.
Nearby activities: Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville all close by with more to do than you can fit in one day, including putt-putt, bumper cars, bumper boats, Ripley's attractions, Dollywood, Splash Country, museums, shows, shopping, etc. Tourist town.
Noteworthy details: Hotel is locked at night and often sold out so call before driving all the way back there to be rudely told no rooms if they even bother to answer the locked door.

As a "valued IHG DIAMOND ELITE" member, I never felt MORE insulted at a hotel than I did on Friday, April 16, 2024 at 1:45 a.m.
After driving for 10 hours, it was time for me to find a stopping point. When I arrived and walked in, a young lady and "teenage looking boy" were startled about me walking in. They both just stared at me. I asked them if they had a room and the response, "I have one room left and it's $198". I said I have IHG and does that change the price. She said no because a manager wasn't there to approve it. I asked about other HIE in the nearby area that may have a cheaper rate (outside of a tourist area) and neither of them acted like I was speaking English. They were both very rude. I walked out and got in my car to drive 30 minutes east to another HIE that did make accommodations for me based on my IHG membership.
I would recommend some hospitality courses and perhaps hire employees that don't treat guests like an inconvenience. I expect more IHG.
