The store has more to offer since the expansion. There is a deli, bakery, soup, salad and hot bar, floral, wine and beer, meat department with butcher on duty most days, pharmacy, and local bank branch. Some of the department's have been reduced with their offerings. It's clean, normally well stocked. The staff is helpful and courtous.

The store and food itself is great. There are a handful of employees that are pleasant, mainly teenagers, but the rest are not friendly. Changing the self check out to 15 items or less would work if there were more registers open. The employees yell at you if you’re one item over. Not a pleasant experience to check out. Food city is unfortunately the only grocery store in Kodak; I try to avoid it and go to Kroger or Publix, but I don’t always feel like driving into town.

The only thing I have that I was disappointed in, there was no Stouffer's chicken pot pie. I can't find it anywhere I'm assuming it was discontinued
