Dear Check-out Clerk: Regarding the sale of alcohol: Never attempt to fob-off a store ID policy (noble as it might be), as a (ahem!) 'State Law'. Although your intent might be pure, such false professions calls into question the entire level of integrity that your retail chain claims to aspire towards.
