I recently moved to the area and saw Village Veterinary Medical Center as I was driving by it. I've taken my dog here twice now and both times was very pleased with the respectful service from the medical and support staff. I e called several times and always receive prompt and kind care. I especially appreciate how Dr Morrison personally followed up with me after prescribing a new medication for my doggy. She patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend VVMC and will continue to let them care for my dog.

We will be looking for a new Veterinary Clinic. We've brought our dog here for two years and they always try to upsell unnecessary treatments. Today was the last straw. My wife called to see if we could bring our dog in for a Rabies Shot. They told us we could but, when we got there they insisted that we couldn't get a Rabies shot without a wellness exam. Then, the told my wife that she was due for some other vaccines too. Since my wife didn't know which were necessary and which ones were not, she agreed. By the end of the visit, instead of spending $30 for a Rabies shot we spent $280 for a variety of vaccines and a wellness exam we did not need or want. To make matters worse, the vet kept trying to insist that a bump on our dog, that has been there since she was a puppy, should be removed and that we should consider doing that when we bring here for a sedated teeth cleaning. The thing is, we brought here there for that bump and they biopsied it then but did not remove it. The biopsy results were negative and the bump remained. Why didn't they remove it then but suggest to do it now. Did they not do their job the first time or are they bilking us for more money now. I believe they took advantage of my wife by using words like "due", implying that she had it before or it was necessary again. They did not do a good job of explaining what they were giving to our pet and they should have told us on the phone when we made the appointment that the Rabies shot required a wellness exam. There's a big difference between words like "needs" vs "advised". I don't mind their recommendations but they need to let their customers make the decision with out being pressured or deceived.

I was Forced to put my beloved kitty down because she had Lucimia. I had an infant at that time and the Vet was worried about the child. Found out too late that is Not how the disease spreads! It does not cross species

So refreshing to go to a 'real' repro clinic with amazing staff and docs. I can't say enough good things about this place. Will continue to make that long drive for all my breeding dogs! Worth every mile and every penny.. ?

My dog became lethargic and would not eat over the weekend. I called our vet Monday morning. I was told I could bring him in at 3:30 as an “after hours” visit (they close at 6:00). I would probably have to wait 2 to 3 hours and pay an additional $50 to $75! The reception was very curt also. I called Village Veterinarian. I got an appointment at 11:15. Everyone was wonderful. After almost 10 years with my vet, I now have a new, nicer and friendlier place to take my sweet pup.

I have very high standards when it comes to vet care for my dog and this place checks every box. Facilities are kept very nice and clean, they are very busy but always make room for you especially in urgent situations, staff all have very positive attitudes and are always happy to help answer questions/concerns, the vets are very knowledgeable as well as patient with and kind to my dog. They always call a few days after your appointment to check on your pet and answer any follow up questions you may have. I also find their pricing very reasonable for the standard of care they provide, I have paid a lot more for a lot less elsewhere. On my last visit there my dog had injured his eye. I was able to get him an appointment within 24 hours of the injury, I was in the waiting room no longer than 5 minutes, there was no wait time between the vet tech leaving the exam room and the vet coming in, my dog was given an exam and they ran some tests on his eyes, they prescribed antibiotic eyedrops that were given to me right then, the vet showed me how to administer the drops and I left spending less than $200. This was a Friday afternoon and they called first thing Monday to check on him (and answered all the questions I had!). I can't say enough positive things about this place, I'm just disappointed that I'm moving states and can't continue to bring my dog here.

I can not say enough about how wonderful this place is! We are new to the area, and my cockapoo needed all her shots and medicines updated. The clinic staff were all so warm and welcoming. We got an appointment right away. They fed my puppy spray cheese on a stick to keep her calm and happy during her shots, she didn't even notice! So so happy I found this incredible vet. I feel very lucky to have such kind and welcoming staff near us and able to take care of my furry child

There's a massive difference between a $40 women's haircut experience and a $90 women's haircut experience. The level of care and thoroughness you get here is like the $90 haircut experience. It's what I want for my pet. The vet I go to when I'm out of town for college is not at all like this. No other vets have been. I've been taking my maltipoo here when I'm in town for 11 years. My family trusts their other 2 dogs with Village Vet's care here. They have donation bins for dog food. Goes to a dog food pantry that usually distributes it to families with foster dogs. Funny thing I'll mention at the end 'cause it's less important -- If your dog is loud in the waiting room, they'll let you in away from the waiting room faster. I swear! It's funny but it's true. Not that our family would've had a loud dog or two to know from experience, ofc.

Dr. Goodrich and staff are amazing! I have never been to a vet that was as in-depth, informative and caring as they are. They even called me the day after my pet's appointment to make sure they were feeling okay. They see our pets as family and actually listen to what you tell them. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend this place for anyone who truly love their pet. This place was recommended by my vet so I trusted they would give me great advice for my pregnant chihuahua. Boy was I so wrong. I called to let them know her water broke and I needed advice. Dr Sharbel tells me it could take awhile; sometimes up tn 12 hours. She advised me to watch her and when she pushes really hard for 30 minutes and no puppy is delivered, bring her on in. Not sure what her motive was for giving me such terrible advice. The advice I found on the Internet stated once the water broke, the pup should be delivered in about 30 minutes. This did not line up to what Dr Sharbel told me. She told me it could take a while and up to 12 hours. By the time I found this information on the Internet, 4 hours had passed by since my Chihuahuas water broke. My Chihuahua never did show signs of hard pushing for 30 minutes. When I got to the vet, she obviously needed C-section. And if I hadn't brought my Chihuahua in when I did, I could have lost her too. Perhaps their intentions were to rack up a bigger bill. They badgered me if I wanted to run extra blood panel to determine markers, placing a chip in her, and to spay her! I was able to bring home my Chihuahua and one of her puppies. The puppy was never able to latch or suck. We fed her using a syringe. It was obvious something was wrong with this puppy because she could not suck. She died the next day. I feel it was all because she had been in the birth canal for over 4 hours without amniotic fluid that protects her. The next day we received a call from the vet as a reminder for the puppy to have her dew claws removed. My husband told her the puppy died and Britney response was "so do you want to cancel the appointment". She showed No empathy at all. Not once! I've called several times for additional advice regarding my Chihuahua who was grieving and very sad. Still Britney showed not one speck of empathy. I later spoke to Dr. Lively who tried to justify the terrible advice I received from Dr Sharbel. She basically told me that Dr Sharbel would not have known if the water was just some natural fluid. I wouldn't trust this facility for nothing in the world! Protect your fur babies from this awful place that only wants your money! Beware they have Proven to be cold hearted people. In addition, no one called to check how my Chihuahua and her puppy was doing. Terrible cold-hearted, money hungry place.

Village Veterinary is wonderful. I have been there with my dog about 6 times. Dr. Bonney is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff seems to work well as a team and are all friendly and good at their jobs. My dog Pete actually enjoys going to the vet!
