I recently moved to the area and saw Village Veterinary Medical Center as I was driving by it. I've taken my dog here twice now and both times was very pleased with the respectful service from the medical and support staff. I e called several times and always receive prompt and kind care. I especially appreciate how Dr Morrison personally followed up with me after prescribing a new medication for my doggy. She patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend VVMC and will continue to let them care for my dog.

We will be looking for a new Veterinary Clinic. We've brought our dog here for two years and they always try to upsell unnecessary treatments. Today was the last straw. My wife called to see if we could bring our dog in for a Rabies Shot. They told us we could but, when we got there they insisted that we couldn't get a Rabies shot without a wellness exam. Then, the told my wife that she was due for some other vaccines too. Since my wife didn't know which were necessary and which ones were not, she agreed. By the end of the visit, instead of spending $30 for a Rabies shot we spent $280 for a variety of vaccines and a wellness exam we did not need or want. To make matters worse, the vet kept trying to insist that a bump on our dog, that has been there since she was a puppy, should be removed and that we should consider doing that when we bring here for a sedated teeth cleaning. The thing is, we brought here there for that bump and they biopsied it then but did not remove it. The biopsy results were negative and the bump remained. Why didn't they remove it then but suggest to do it now. Did they not do their job the first time or are they bilking us for more money now. I believe they took advantage of my wife by using words like "due", implying that she had it before or it was necessary again. They did not do a good job of explaining what they were giving to our pet and they should have told us on the phone when we made the appointment that the Rabies shot required a wellness exam. There's a big difference between words like "needs" vs "advised". I don't mind their recommendations but they need to let their customers make the decision with out being pressured or deceived.

I was Forced to put my beloved kitty down because she had Lucimia. I had an infant at that time and the Vet was worried about the child. Found out too late that is Not how the disease spreads! It does not cross species

My dog became lethargic and would not eat over the weekend. I called our vet Monday morning. I was told I could bring him in at 3:30 as an “after hours” visit (they close at 6:00). I would probably have to wait 2 to 3 hours and pay an additional $50 to $75! The reception was very curt also. I called Village Veterinarian. I got an appointment at 11:15. Everyone was wonderful. After almost 10 years with my vet, I now have a new, nicer and friendlier place to take my sweet pup.

I have very high standards when it comes to vet care for my dog and this place checks every box. Facilities are kept very nice and clean, they are very busy but always make room for you especially in urgent situations, staff all have very positive attitudes and are always happy to help answer questions/concerns, the vets are very knowledgeable as well as patient with and kind to my dog. They always call a few days after your appointment to check on your pet and answer any follow up questions you may have. I also find their pricing very reasonable for the standard of care they provide, I have paid a lot more for a lot less elsewhere. On my last visit there my dog had injured his eye. I was able to get him an appointment within 24 hours of the injury, I was in the waiting room no longer than 5 minutes, there was no wait time between the vet tech leaving the exam room and the vet coming in, my dog was given an exam and they ran some tests on his eyes, they prescribed antibiotic eyedrops that were given to me right then, the vet showed me how to administer the drops and I left spending less than $200. This was a Friday afternoon and they called first thing Monday to check on him (and answered all the questions I had!). I can't say enough positive things about this place, I'm just disappointed that I'm moving states and can't continue to bring my dog here.
