“Nice facility and fine service. Ample parking. The meats (especially the prime rib) were excellent as were the mashed potatoes. Most everything else foodwise was rather mediocre, including dessert. A solid 4 to 5 overall.”
“I recently used Lighthouse Knoxville for catering at a business event. The General Manager, Emily, was incredibly courteous and helpful as we tried to find the best solutions for my fairly unique situation. I received so many compliments about the food, both its taste and presentation. Emily and her staff were all very friendly and I definitely hope to work with them for future events! Highly recommend if you're looking for a local, friendly, HELPFUL, caterer. On a side note, I've also attended several events at the Lighthouse venue. It's always top notch food and service, and the ambience of the huge porch and backyard lake are so serene!”

9317 Linksvue Dr, Knoxville“In the heart of West Knoxville, Gettysvue is a links course with challenging terrain, and woods lined fairways.Affectionately dubbed the 'Goat Ranch' by Knoxvillians, the hilly terrain is reminiscent of goat terrain. The course has a picturesque driving range with glorious mountain view's. The course is well maintained and water comes into play on a couple of holes.Follow me on Yelp for more things to see and do in the Knoxville and surrounding area.”

621 Lamar St, Knoxville“We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect! All the staff was so helpful and it turned out to be the perfect size (we had about 78 people). They made a custom cider for us and it was such a big hit.”
“I attended this venue for a gun show. This place can house a great number of visitors, yet the parking lot was overflowing, and the show was crowded at opening time. As the day progresses, the crowd lessens.”
“I visited the Bleak house today. It was my first time and what a fantastic experience. Both ladies working there were very knowledgeable and a wealth of info. I spent three hours there and could have spent more. Fantastic hidden gem right in Knoxville and should be on any War for Southern Independence history lovers list. Thank y'all for a wonderful time and I can’t wait to bring my family.”
“If you are planning any kind of event I would highly recommend this venue very reasonably priced and the staff is wonderful to work with. Very friendly, very accommodating, they really go above and beyond to make sure that not only you, but all of your guests are well taken care of.”
“The back to school event was great. It was good to see so many volunteers and organizations working together to help children have an enjoyable day and prepare them for the start of school. The Jacob Building was a good venue for this event”

530 S Gay St, Knoxville“The valet manager Hannah and her awesome team were very friendly and gave a fantastic first impression upon my arrival. I would absolutely come back for a second stay with that kind of service. No complaints whatsoever.”
“It was a beautiful place. The gardens were well taken care of. It is well isolated from the city hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious and the activities were enjoyable. It felt like a true get away. We will absolutely be back.”

210 W Church Ave, Knoxville“Great hotel in downtown Knoxville. Quiet!! One block off Gay Street and an easy walk to Pioneer Square. 10 minute walk from the hotel down to Pretentious Beers, awesome restaurant like Kaisen and Fin-Two Japanese.
I ended up here after the downtown Marriott hotel was booked and I’m glad I stayed here. The shower gets so hot where at the Marriott I cannot get it hot enough. Very friendly staff, easy to stay at the Residence Inn and eat at the Courtyard restaurant. Another plus for this place in my opinion over the Marriott downtown is that even though you have to pay per day to park just like you would at the Marriott, you self park so you can go right down directly to your car and leave, not having to have to wait for the valet.”

11319 Campbell Lakes Dr, Knoxville“The hotel was clean and so were rooms other than the pullout couch bed. The mattress was stained and for a lack of better words junk. The mattress on the king bed was not comfortable either. The layout of the room put the couch directly in front of the air conditioner unit so to keep the room at a comfortable temperature you have to freeze anyone sleeping on the couch. Of course this would not be an issue if there weren’t 3 of us and we didn’t need to use the couch. The hotel is in a good location with plenty of shopping and dining options. But it is beside a busy roadway and although the noise was not an issue inside our room it did make it quite unpleasant to sit at the pool and patio. Since we were there for a softball tournament we did appreciate the free laundry service. Staff was friendly. The Continental breakfast had more options than most we’ve seen lately. If we were in the area again, we may stay there if we could get a room with different a different layout.”

9134 Executive Park Dr, Knoxville“My stay overall was pretty good. the bathroom in the room could use chair height commodes. the older we get, its sometime hard to get up. the tv was not very good. could not scroll thru the guide, had to wait for it to scroll on its own. and not much but sports on it. If you are not a sports person, not much to watch. room was very clean.Rooms: need better tv and chair height commodes.Nearby activities: was on a military reunion.Safety: seemed safe.Walkability: didn't walk much.Food & drinks: breakfast was pretty good. could have used real eggs instead of the watery kind. otherwise it was good.Noteworthy details: easy to get to and return home from. sat close to interstate.”
“Customer service is above and beyond! Extremely friendly staff!! This hotel may have a bit dated utilities but for the price point it stands out tremendously. I have read many reviews of peoples negative experience but I find that to be of a perspective that could be considered pompous in a sense. The rooms are the size of a small apartment with ALL the same amenities and I searched for insects and issues and in my case found none. Highest quality personally I found was the people who work this location as they were so kind and catering. The complaints I read before booking were things that were just petty and picky to be honest. Individuals who want 12 star quality out of a 2 star hotel are just selfish and shallow. I will absolutely come back here again and would recommend this to anyone who wanted to stay here. I had never heard of sonesta suites prior to this stay and was well introduced! 10/10 for me.Rooms: Well done considering age, plenty of space, lots of amenities, the kitchenette was very nice.Nearby activities: Restaurants, bars, shopping, buisness.”
“Easy parking, easy entrance. Good security.Great small venue. Acoustics were amazing. Will definitely come to more events here. All of the Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.”

730 Rufus Graham Rd, Knoxville“We had to stay 3 nights because of a power outage in our neighborhood. I wasn't going to be inconvenienced by going to a cheap hotel. I was already out $2700 just to get power on at my house. My dad used to say, "it's only money." This was worth it.
Noteworthy details: It's off the interstate. It's not so much a vacation spot. But it was money well spent for the comfort.”

5634 Merchants Center Blvd, Knoxville“Easy to find. Close to the freeway. Maybe a little too close. That's the only negative, trucks on the freeway are very loud.
Rooms: Very spacious rooms. King room has everything you need. Microwave and mini fridge. Kurig if want a half a cup of coffee.”
“I was visiting Knoxville and decided to stop in on a Thursday evening. There was lots of fun Line Dancing! Looking forward to coming back again when I'm back in Town.”
“My husband and I held our wedding reception here, and it was an absolute dream! It was the perfect space for our ~140 guests. The beautiful artwork and historic details were just about all the decoration we needed, and there were lots of great spots for photos. We also loved that we were supporting a local nonprofit. From our initial inquiry through the event, Suzanne was so helpful and responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. We look forward to returning to this special place again and again, and would highly recommend to others looking for a unique event space.”
