I use to sit in pulmonologist office when I was going to be admitted, was ready they moved me over. Oh, in July I went through e.r. and it is way to unorganized and too over crowded. Got there Monday at 11 a.m., they triaged fast, blood work, X-ray, EKG and urine. Then I sat, I ran out of oxygen. Went through a bunch of theirs. Anyway I did not get back in e.r room until 3 a.m. but they did ultrasound and while I was in a bed waiting outside my room, cops bring 2 drunk people in and one got my room, so after 4 a.m. til I got e.r. room. They left me sitting in that room with no meds all day the following Tuesday. I was furious and threw door open, I was going to be admitted, I am like how much longer, just luck the transport guy was there, don't think he was there for me, but I am pretty sure my face was evil
looking, he jumped in and said how about I take her to her room. That was a ridiculous turn around time. I was bad, but some worse than me. Too many people too close together, coughing, being sick, etc. Monday, the ones that came about same time I did, the ones. That were just getting meds and being discharged, they waited til shift change then called them up at same time, gave them prescriptions and discharge papers, no way it took that many hours. You would have thought it a HIPPA violation to hand stuff out when everyone around can hear. I have always had specialist at U.T but after that trip to emergency, I will never go through their emergency room again. I am scarred for life. There were some older people to, I just don't know why triage didn't put patients in order of worst to can wait a little bit, no order, everyone was waiting much too long and too close together.

Everything I've ever had done has been at this hospital. As any place, there's always going to be problems, but when it comes to my health, my family's health. I want the best people for the job, and that's UT hospital. All of your medical records are there together. The Dr's can even get together with each other and talk about the best plan for you (your life). I can't see myself going anywhere else. 1 negative thing, ER needs some help. The Dr's and nurses are friendly, but sitting and waiting for over 12hrs is no fun. BUT! The ER was so full nowhere to even sit, and that's out of their control to who and how many people come there. Some people there for not really sure. And they don't turn you away. As far for me and my family, this is where we will be.

Triage was rude, nurse technicians was full of himself. Wait time is absolutely horrible for any ER. Will update, currently here. It didn't get any better from there.

Honestly. I am very upset with my experience here. I lost a big portion of my foot in a traumatic accident and was treated as if I sprung my ankle. They gave me the bare minimum for pain. The doctors had no bedside manners and pretty much kicked me out the day after surgery saying their hospital was full and that their was no reason for me to be there. Even though I wasn’t able to walk. The only thing I did not have a problem with is the nurses and the CNAs.They were very friendly and did the best with what was allowed for them.

I wish I could give them LOWER than a one. THIS ISSUE IS CURRENTLY happening to me.Monday May 24, 2021 I get in a car wreck. I push femur through the hip joint ball. Shattered. Trauma team and surgeon needs 10 stars and were awesome. Put in traction. Wait for surgery. Lied to for 2 days, telling me it was like 6 hours away.. finally did surgery on the Wed the 26th. Surgery was PERFECT... a.. Thursday morn the 27th I had 10 min of physical therapy. Promises galore including walker and basic care 30 min later I got told I was being released. Released without a walker, anything else I was lied to about was understandable, however the infection that just set up in my leg may feel differently.. I am finding a lawyer TUESDAY

Absolutely no compassion for human beings at all. Hands down this hospital is the worst experience in healthcare we’ve ever had.

I had my baby here and everything went pretty well up till after I was moved to the room you stay in after labor... the nurses are very unhelpful especially for a first time mom that had a c-section. I had to tell the nurse like 5 times my baby was just throwing her milk back up after every feeding and they didn't Change it to sensitive till she puked up all over the bedding and the the nurse had the balls to be rude about it saying they didn't have the bedding to keep changing like I can control my child spitting up and also if she would have listened when I told her she needed to be changed to something else... very disappointed with my stay here I couldn't wait to go home
