A man inappropriately exposed himself to me. It is very disheartening that a situation of this magnitude occurs at this gym and there is no recourse for this situation. As a woman who was almost 8 months pregnant I feared for my life and my unborn child's life. I felt threatened and I thought this man was going to attack me. The way this situation was handled was very nonchalant and lackadaisical. My safety was compromised. I can not stop thinking about this situation. I can not stop trying to come up with an explanation of why this happened to me or how someone was allowed into the gym who exemplified this kind of erratic behavior. His lewd and lascivious acts should NOT have been tolerated. The manager called your regional manager to ask what he should do in this situation. That made me very uneasy. It confirmed to me that there are no structured policies and procedures in place that will protect members from Sexual Harassment. No one once offered me a sincere apology or checked to make sure I was okay. I am beyond disappointed in the manner that Planet Fitness decided to handle this incident. I emailed the social address when the situation originally took place and have yet to receive a response. I know you have to send the generic message below as a formality.

I think this is some of the best training available. My daughter started 6 weeks ago 2 times a week and her conditioning went from non to best she ever been in.

My son has utilized The Grind multiple times for speed and agility training. Dyshawn is great with the youth and we plan on continuing to come back.

Great club. They have all the relevant equipment. There are plenty of machines. It's clean. The staff is friendly. It does get pretty crowded, but that's the nature of gyms. I don't really understand the organization of their weight machines though. The sequence is not as clear cut as some other locations

I went as a guest to see if I wanted to join my friend, who happens to be a black card member. We went first thing in the morning, around 4am. There was only one person working out at the time, which I was glad to see. I prefer it that way because of the weight I've gained doing all the reviews on Yelp! Lol. There was a young lady who registered me in as a guest, which took longer than 10 minutes because she was new and wasn't too familiar with the computer system or the process of getting me registered. After the process finally finished I asked my friend to give me a tour because the girl didn't even offer to show me around. When my friend took me to the back I saw that they had a hydromassage machine, which look pretty interesting. There was a sign on it that said to see the front desk to use the machine, so back to the front I ventured to seek permission to try out the equipment. To my disappointment, the girl informed me that the machines and equipment in that area were for "black card holders only". I pointed to another sign that was behind me and asked her why the sign said "Unlimited Guest Privileges" for black card holders, which my friend was. She just apologized and said that it's their rules, to which I replied, "then I guess black card holders truly don't get ""unlimited"" guest privileges". She didn't really have anything to say after that and just shrugged her shoulders at me. I then decided to go try other machines and equipment that I was permitted and "limited" to use as their guest. As I was using their treadmill I noticed more signs on the walls... staying that it was a "Judgement Free Zone" and "Planet Fitness = no critics". I found that interesting seeing as how I already felt judged for being a guest. During one of my water breaks at the water refill station I noticed another sign. This place loves their signs apparently. Hey, I love signs too, I'm a Virgo. Anyway, this sign really caught my attention because it stated that they had a "dress code" which stated, "to maintain our no gymtimidation environment, please no jeans, boots, sandals or string tank tops' thank you", and had a picture of a male bodybuilder wearing all of the above listed in their dress code along with a gallon of water sitting on the floor next to him. What in the world?!? Okay, just so I get this straight, this place claims to be free of "judgement and critics" just as long as you aren't a bodybuilder or a guest?!? Their marketing seems a bit hypocritical in my opinion. It's the things that make you go Hmmmmmm... On my way out the door I gave the front desk woman a "sign" that I wasn't going to be returning by explaining that they might get more memberships if they offered to let guests try all of their machines. Not giving samples out of all the awesome benefits they "could" offer me on my first visit was very disappointing, and in my opinion wasn't very smart of them, because if I fell in love with those machines I would of signed up right on the spot! Can you blame me for wanting a massage instead of working out?!? But, not even offering or allowing to let someone try it out before they commit?!? Yeah, I have commitment issues, I've only been engaged for 11 years now. Guess I'll be going with my 11 year fiancé to try Gold's Gym, rumor has it they allow guess true "full access" to use their pool and even attend classes!
