First year was GREAT. Second year got weird, starting when my child caught a viral infection because the center had a worker that worked here with hand, foot & mouth along with her child that went here. My child had to be admitted and have surgery. Afterwards, my daughter AGAIN had a gauge above her eyebrow because she got hurt in class. Please be aware that the Owner Brina, doesn’t communicate & leaves it to Ms.Robin the daycare manager to make decision. No matter how many times, you be polite or even try to get in touch, the owner tends to want to ignore you for weeks because she’s not getting her way. Things got weird when the team changed, NEVER DID I COMPLAIN when I was told to come pick up my children or that they need clothes. WOULD LITERALLY KEEP them home weeks and months at a time for their safety. I use to love this daycare til after my child got hurt TWICE. On top of that, her jacket is STILL YET MISSING. Then NOBODY never knows why your child clothes come up cut up when it’s time for pickup. My second daughter came home with her clothes bleached. I removed them April 19,2024 because of a miscommunication or misunderstanding. It also took more than 2 weeks to get a refund EVEN AFTER telling the owner I’m removing them. She made me MAY 2,2024 come to write a statement saying I’m removing them to get a refund. No COMMUNICATION & KEPT IGNORING MY MESSAGES UNTIL I SHOWED UP THIS MORNING OF MAY 2,2024. I also was told to clock BOTH kids in EVEN when ONE wasn’t there. Supporting black owners, this is the most disappointing thing I’ve been through because honestly they “WERE” a good daycare at some point. I will not tolerate weird behavior when they do decide to come back. As for Ms.Robin, I APPRECIATE you and Ms.Kelley for the couple of years we’ve experienced with yall & a few other teachers that use to work here. I appreciate you ALWAYS taking the time out your day EVEN if it’s late, to check on the kids and I. I came to this center because my mentor literally told me this was the best & I trusted them knowing both of my parents been deceased since I was 16 & came to Tennessee from Texas. Felt like comfort even at the hardest moments. Just be cautious ? God Bless.

The staff was ok, but would send my son home often early. This made it incredibly difficult to hold down a job. They were picky about drop off time and pick up time. If you were late for drop off then your child will not be able to stay even with a doctor's note for a regular check up. If your child has a runny nose then you need to send them to the doctor, get a note before they will be welcomed back. If they don't like how your child's BM looks even if there is no issue then they will send them home early. You can not review or spot check their daycare operations. They will overcharge you for daycare services. In my situation I share 50/50 custody with my son's mother. She took him on vacation for 3 weeks. I had to pay for those weeks he was not receiving services from Tates. My son never enjoyed himself at the facility, and I am glad we are no longer there. At least they were ok with having him on a part time schedule, but they will find every reason not to offer childcare. If this is your only choice then it will do, but be advised that you would be better off finding other daycare options.

You get what you pay for... The owner is controlling and inconsiderate of parents concerns. The teachers are unprofessional and underqualified. They ignore food allergies and break state regulations... Worst mistake ever!
